? I mean. Do the training first. If you feel you need more training before hoping on ranked than by all means. I truly believe we get better by playing more than training. As they say, iron sharpens iron.

Glad I could help. If your new to the game consider joining the discord (link is in the description) or check out this other video I did covering what every part of the training mode does exactly. ruclips.net/video/B-DGqT9b8_I/видео.htmlsi=hMyKL5c6roMd7mWk
Thanks so much. Really this channel is primarily focused on keeping things simple for newcomers and lapsed fans. Plenty of people better than me making the kinda content you seek. Look for TrunksFGC or Brian F and I bet they’ll have everything you’d need.
Plenty more where that came from. Feel free to join the discord and become part of the community we’ve helped rookie and bronze players all the way into diamond.
Tbh I don't think you need all of that until mid diamond. I'm plat 3 rn, and people straight up don't play neutral on these ranks. Imo main things you need to learn up until mid diamond are bnb combos, light and super confirms, di reactions and anti airs. And when people try to actually play footsies then there's a reason to start whiff punish and drive rush reaction drills
@sergeyzakharov7326 that’s definitely a fair philosophy to have as well. Though I wouldn’t call this a full “footsie” training. Maybe that’s something I’ll look into making soon. Combos aren’t the easiest thing to teach in a broad universal sense. I could look into a “simple” character tutorial when I feel comfortable teaching a certain character
Appreciate all the content you've put out Yohdood! It's helped me a ton as a complete beginner to fighting games. I had one question as a follow up to this video and the training mode guide, what character would you suggest using as an alternative to Ryu for the recordings? I'd like to try the default Capcom developed training options but they warn about overwriting the recordings for Ryu when you select them.
The reason we use ryu for this training is because of those those guides. If you overwrite a preset training guide by Capcom you can reset it by simply picking the training again. No need to worry. The warning Capcom ‘n gives you mentions overwriting and recordings you have already set up for ryu.
Funny enough having two things on at once was originally part of the video. But I decided it wasn’t as simple as I wanted the training to be. Maybe 50/50 training is something I should do next
Just jump in like a real madman. No warm up . Just fk it. All in with all my points

Good drills. Don't know why I never thought of this. The spacing exercise is something I need to work on.

Good stuff. I tried turning all slots on at the same time and got wrecked. It's way harder when you're not anticipating a particular move.

drink coffee, doesn’t matter the time or how many you already had just knock down the brew and get into the queue , tip the mug and throw some slugs.
Hell Yeah brother!
Can you do: Abdominals in five minutes now? 🤣
There’s plenty of people who got you on that one man lol. I just play street fighter!
