You’re very welcome man. Will need to make another one.
Love it! Been looking for a good basics warmup! Thank you!
You’re very welcome dood
Good drills. Don't know why I never thought of this. The spacing exercise is something I need to work on.
It’s usually the littlest things that get overlooked. Your footing is the most important part of professional wrestling. The same is true for street fighter.
@@YohDojo So true.😎👍🏽
Good stuff. I tried turning all slots on at the same time and got wrecked. It's way harder when you're not anticipating a particular move.
Funny enough having two things on at once was originally part of the video. But I decided it wasn’t as simple as I wanted the training to be. Maybe 50/50 training is something I should do next
Great video! Subscribed!
Thank you so much
Been struggling between gold and plat for months. Thank you brotha
Plenty more where that came from. Feel free to join the discord and become part of the community we’ve helped rookie and bronze players all the way into diamond.
Tbh I don't think you need all of that until mid diamond. I'm plat 3 rn, and people straight up don't play neutral on these ranks. Imo main things you need to learn up until mid diamond are bnb combos, light and super confirms, di reactions and anti airs. And when people try to actually play footsies then there's a reason to start whiff punish and drive rush reaction drills
@sergeyzakharov7326 that’s definitely a fair philosophy to have as well. Though I wouldn’t call this a full “footsie” training. Maybe that’s something I’ll look into making soon. Combos aren’t the easiest thing to teach in a broad universal sense. I could look into a “simple” character tutorial when I feel comfortable teaching a certain character
@@sergeyzakharov7326 yeah but it doesn't hurt to learn how to play the "right way"
Just jump in like a real madman. No warm up . Just fk it. All in with all my points
? I mean. Do the training first. If you feel you need more training before hoping on ranked than by all means. I truly believe we get better by playing more than training. As they say, iron sharpens iron.
@@YohDojoit’s a good idea to warm up . I’m just joking around .
@mr.420themasterblazer9 got cha. Can never tell on RUclips. I plan to make more of these for other areas to train on.
Can you do: Abdominals in five minutes now? 🤣

2:22 Heya, just a note. This will get you killed against Dhalsim, Bison, Juri and Rashid. Thanks.
No bit of advice for this game is ever 100% accurate. There will always be exceptions to it. That being said this advice will work (especially for lower level players which is my intended audience) more often than it won’t. There’s nuance to it and I agree that there are situations where my advice here won’t work. (Safe Jumps, Sim in 90% of situations, special air moves, etc) thanks for commenting and chipping into the conversation, means a lot.
Thank you for the video and i really appreciate your hard work. This is a great video for players like me :)

@keichiwonder oh! Hi Izzy 🤣
@@YohDojo Hello Master Dood :)
Ohhh danyummm is that Jon "Jon Erebus" Erebus!?!
The very same 🤣
If you just play world tour and do the missions, you’ll naturally level up all of your characters and stuff. It’s actually a pretty fun time waster of a game in my opinion lol. But hey, if you just wanna unlock all the costumes, and don’t wanna bother with the actual game, this sure seems like the quickest way to do it, although it’s probably the most tedious. Also, once you complete each master’s 2nd mission, you’ll unlock a gift which gives 40 levels to a specific master. It doesn’t take as long as you’d think to finish leveling all the characters this way, and you don’t have to worry about farming a minigame to earn money 😂
It’s just how I had done it. Thought bit was worth making a small little video for. World Tour is dope and I think everyone should play through it.
Is street fighter 6 any good i haven't played that many fighting games besides Smash Bros and i wanted to know if it's a buy or pass or wait until they release Super or Ultimate SF6
It’s the most fun I’ve had with a fighting game and it’s very user friendly. Between modern controls and the world tour mode being excellent teachers of the game itself. On the thought of a super edition it’s a hard call to make. Maybe pick it up pre owned at your local GameStop and try it out. They still have a 7 day like it or not return policy
this video is great
Thank you very much.
“You don’t press a button to do those…” laughs in hitbox.
That’s fair 🤣. I’ve yet to test drive a leverless controller. Have to keep this in mind for the obligatory “advice I got wrong video” eh?
@@YohDojo yea haha just giving you a hard time. I don’t even own one. I have been sitting on the sidelines contemplating a sf6 purchase. Your videos are very good and def I will repeat my comment from one of you other vids (you might have responded to it already)… def do a vid on fighting game terminology for sure!
@zergtoss1 I greatly appreciate your input man. Thank you so much for watching. I love the jokes, and I hope you’ll pick up sf6 (it’s like 60% off rn on steam I think.) if you do join the discord server and let’s work together to grow together!!!
@@YohDojo PC masterrace you guessed right lol. Yea I am so used to buying fighting games when they are half off for super turbo ultra edition with all characters and shiz but people say sf6 the greatest thing since third strike… I also have a steam deck so could practice and lab during down time during work lol. Not sure if I can watch the years go by without getting practice. Thanks about Discord. Maybe one day I will tilt and get on I just still view discord as the facebook of voip and it really bothers me that everyone became a part of it (you know data privacy). You channel is destined to blow up man!
@zergtoss1 thank you so much man. Hope to see you in the game! Or in the discord!
Honestly I think that if you’re able to play a top tier character well, then you’re a very good player. That is because top tier characters require the most skill to play. Chun Li is a perfect example of this. If you’re not good with her, then you’re going to suck. But if you’re good then you’re going to do good. I would say that the best characters in the game for majority of players are the low tier characters because those characters are easier to play and are effective against overwhelming majority of players. That’s why you see more Zangiefs reaching master than JPs and Chun Li’s.
Do you Play Zangief sir? I wholeheartedly disagree that he’s an “easier character to play” than someone like Chun or JP. Needing less hits to win a round does not make up for all of Giefs flaws. Same goes for Lily, Marisa, Manon, and I can go on. The basic tool kit can be easy to pick up and plug in but that’s not to say there isn’t a world of depth in these characters too. In fact it’s even more so because they have no good defensive options on wake up (besides wake up Drive Reversal now) I think the reasons you see more Giefs getting into masters than Chun and JP at this current moment is due to Gief getting a buff and the other two getting a nerf. Interest in playing the grappler has increased because he’s a better character overall now. I’d also argue there’s many many players who don’t know how to fight Gief in general making getting Ws with him a bit easier as well.
I got this recommended Ill watch every second of it
I greatly appreciate it man. Hope it all helps :)
This whole comment section and video is an crock of shit... Y'all mfs on here trying to downplay these busted characters... Its hilarious how every time i ask someone who says sf6 is well balanced who they use its always Ken Luke blanka and or chun li... If you can completely skip neutral and bs your ways to wins of course you are going to say the game is fair and balanced.. now bring on the hate capcom fanboys
A.K.I is cool
A.K.I. Is cool. Not one for me but she is cool.
I play Luke cause I enjoy playing him and not for how he is on the tier list. Cause so often I would compete with someone that has the same skill set as me would either win/lose with any character like Ken or Lily. But at the end of the day whether I win or lose, I have a good time playing against someone.
That’s what it’s all about man!
I knew it, Marisa is trash, I knew it !! Now all my losses are justified !!
Big Bird has dropped her from tournament play for Rasheed, Shuto dropped her for Akuma. Marisa mains are suffering right now.
Yeah Big Bird use to play Rashid though yeah? I’m not saying you’re wrong by any means. Just it makes since if the character you like more has come back into play.
Ed, my favorite SF character.... will always be top tier in my heart ❤
He’s goofy for sure. Happy you found your character!
UMA said in an interview that he specifically picked juri because she is decently strong but not recognized as the meta/too popular
I didn’t know that! It makes perfect since.
Everyone can win for sure. Just the player
It takes discipline to level up your gameplay for sure. It takes a lot of looking inward. A lot of practice and a lot of training. I know you can get better! Join the discord if you’d like some help with your journey. We have an awesome community there.
3:07 Omg is that the goat poop83000
It is! He was kind enough to let me pretend I have a DeeJay 😂
i feel like there are several huge differences between pro play/hardcore play tier lists and everyday casual play tier lists, on the ranks most people play (up until gold) characters like zangief/manon/ed/lily/marisa are way better than on higher ranks/pro play
I dunno 🤔 I’d argue that tiers in this day and age don’t really matter at any level of play. Elchakotay just won Combo Breaker with Lily of all characters. My point stands that any character can win despite where the “pros” will put them on a tier list. Snake Eyez beat a JP to get into Capcom Cup. Arguably one of giefs worst match ups.
@@YohDojo tiers represent the overall state of the game so i would say they matter just because its what is in the actual game, and again tier lists do show a lot more of the reality of casual players than pro players (casual players are like 90% of the player base)
SF6 is very well balanced, and I think the vast majority players should pick characters on how much they enjoy playing them, but I do think at the highest level some of the characters are clearly worse than others. I also don't think Capcom Cup is the best example to show balance, due to many weak regions allowing strong players from those regions to qualify with weaker characters. Look at the offline majors like EVO, Dreamhack Dallas, and EVO Japan. The low tiers are basically not represented at all in top 24. Having said that, the tiers are all pretty close together, and there's like 15 characters I could see winning a stacked offline major.
I agree. Even my interpretation of who is the best character is skewed. I don’t think one major is enough either. Hell I don’t know if a year of majors is enough. The sample size is just too small to really get the full picture ( which we won’t really get till SF8 comes out lol) thanks for watching!
People truly have a misunderstanding about tier list for such a long time, tier list is just to show how good the characetrs is at the highest level, if you are someone that is not interested in going to tournaments and or localsa nd just want to play rank just pick whatever you like to play and have fun, tier list are just for those that want to take the game seriously and and the player himself know the potential level that he believes in and he wants to utilize those tools with a good character a character that can make you win tournaments or good results consistently
I would say it goes further than that. I haven’t been to an offline tournament but I don’t plan to drop Gief for anything. Just because he’s better now doesn’t mean I wasn’t there for his darker time in S1. Tiers can only tell you what characters are most likely to win at the highest of the highest level. I don’t believe they’re a gauge to tell anyone what characters to play or avoid. You have to find the character you gel with best
Even if we're talking about the highest level of play, they have lesser relevance than they used to. Older games had much more clearly defined tiers because some characters really were just notably better or worse than others (thinking about a game like Marvel vs. Capcom 2). And I do literally mean that the tiers were more clearly defined, in that an S tier character really meant that the character had NO losing match-ups (and barely any even ones, except against other S-tiers) and D tiers being barely functional in the game. Sometimes I still hear this sentiment come up when someone says something like "Street Fighter 6 doesn't have any characters below B tier" to say that all of the characters are tournament viable. But then if most characters are in A or B tier, then the whole thing just doesn't mean as much. Practically speaking, match-up charts are what people should be talking about at a high level. Only thing keeping tier lists relevant is social media.
@TheAmberFang and even that can be skewed by personal preference and play style. Honestly we should just play the game to the best of our abilities and work to become better than we were yesterday.
You also forget that there’s actual data from overall online results of characters that win their match ups the most so there’s more to tier list than just top 1% of play. Yes, to say that tier list don’t matter in who you choose to play is fine & how you want to win is fine too, but no matter your skill if a character is low in his MU against 50% of the cast because he has stubby normals, no reversals, bad supers, slow DR, etc. then you will have a lot tougher time playing in a MU that has those things & a higher chance of losing (how big that lose gap feels depend on variables like the games mechanics, your character, the opponents etc.). Where as a high tier character can just use their flow chart to win a lot of matches vs a character who is low tier & needs to play a very specific way or play heavily skewed on what your press in the MU in order to win the match.. Yeah this matters less in lower level play, but once you reach Master you’ll really start to see the difference in the tiers of characters & how bad or easy some MUs are. I would say even in Diamond you should be noticing the difference in how using a low tier character vs a high tier character feels more oppressive or sweaty than fighting a weaker character or an easier MU for your character is. As someone pointed out Modern fighting games have largely become homogenized, making them easier to balance, so it’s not as prominent to notice this in a game like SF6 in the lower to mid rankings. However, tiers don’t matter in how you decide to enjoy the game nor who you should pick to play if mindset is “I just want to play this character in this game no matter what”. But also it also can be pretty tiring after playing a low tier character for years online & playing the same top 3 characters lol Like playing Nash in V or Vega in USF4 can be tiring after 6+ years of grinding online 😂
Yea I get that and I plan on going to locals . I see a lot of Ed players in big tournaments so I should be fine even though his dp is kinda ass
ELENA HYPE. She will also have healing which is why she is the last Character so people talk about Season 3 and forget about healing
A fine theory. Honestly thinking about it I don’t think Elena will be anything close to the monster she’s was in USF4
I don't care about Tier List, I go in playing an FG with a mindset, thinking that my character is the absolute best character. I'm fairly new to FGs, SF6 is also my first SF, but I don't care when some people look down or hate my character choice, Imma keep playing my character no matter what.
It'd be hilarious if your follow up post was *I main Luke* 😂
Don’t hate man lol. Sluke is a good character but it’s totally fair to love em for other reasons
