I find doing scars is very bright highlights is more realistic. As a heavily scarred person, they are usually much brighter than the surrounding skin! Undershading them like you did helps but I would push them a bit more.
I have heaps of scars. They are not brighter. In fact they are darker and more of the red pink side.
@@max16 Hm, I have a TON of scars too, facial ones from a camlock fitting, a few defensive wounds on my arms and hands from a mugging, and operation scars etc... they are all super bright white for me except a couple small burn ones that are darker.

Tengo una duda, ¿cuándo se aplica primero las luces y luego las sombras? ¿y cuándo hay que pintar primero las sombras y luego iluminar?
Depende mucho de tu forma de pintar, hay pintores que prefiere ir de oscuro a claro, y otro empezar de un tono medio, iluminar y despues sombrear. Tienes que probar diferentes maneras y luego decidir que camino seguir :)

I noticed in some of the close ups there’s some sort of texture forming, like little paint balls. Is that normal?
The video and results of your painting were great (as they usually are). I did have a question regarding the Pro Acryl Paints - do you have any advice regarding them in comparison to Vallejo paints? Like others here, I’d imagine, I have a good amount of Vallejo, some of which was inspired by your videos, and I would like to know if there are advantages to Pro Acryl that are significant enough to justify ordering some (as they are harder to find locally for me than Vallejo).

Both paints are of good quality, and it can be challenging to determine which one is the best as it varies according to personal preference. Game color has a high saturation level and retains its strength, which may be the most significant difference. On the other hand, Pro Acryl colors blend very well when mixed with each other. My recommendation is that you purchase some Pro Acryl colors, give them a try, and experiment by combining both brands.
My only complain about your course is that I can't really paint the same model since is not easily accessible in my country. If it only were 3d printable 😔
