Splendid! Can i ask how do you set the freefly camera fixed while you build? it's done using 2 different character, one in FF ad the other building? it's there a way to do that on one single pc?

Man. I wish there was something like this in the game. It looks absolutely incredible!
Imagine walking through an unsuspecting gate in a mountain and suddenly - this. An expansive underground kingdom!
This! why the Devs can not build something massive like this, would love to explore a dwarven stronghold and get some quests from the dwarven king.
Don't underestimate yourself in creative mode! You can actually make a dwarven city and spawn in a shit ton of dwarfs!
You can even spawn in the dwarven wards so you actually get a proper dwarven city without feeling you cheated, and engage with it in a vanilla context. That way you basically are a kind of dev.
I want to do this at some point. Perhaps even make a fuling city too in the plains, with a much larger frequency of 1 and 2* fulings & berserkers. Include starred deathsquito swarms and lox for good measure. Let's see how a goblin raid goes against a proper city ;)
@@dekippiesipThe issue is the exploration part though - Once you've discovered all of the biomes once - there are few new things to discover despite only have looked at maybe 30-40% of the entire map. A bit more diversity or static islands that are randomly placed at the beginning of each world, much like the merchant would be a cool addition i think.

IMO this is the build of the year, even if we're only in February. I can't imagine anyone making anything better than this, it's mind blowing! I hope the Devs see this ☺
Just my opinion, yes it looks awesome but, using commands negates the "build of the year" simply because he had to use something outside of the game to make it. If you could use a bunch of stone to make the giant rocks, then sure.
@@noxdeimos844 Just two different categories, really. Maybe you believe you have to farm it all by yourself, too?
@@EvilTomte yeah, that's kind of the point of the game.
@@EvilTomte It's not about him spawning in rock to raise ground or create structures, it's the giant immobile rocks he uses to even make something that resembles a natural underground atmosphere, something that's completely impossible on this scale in the base game.
@@jasonlubold3046 Playing the game and building for creative purposes, are, imo, 2 different games. And clearly the devs think so too, seeing as they have already announced there will soon be a lot of different modes to play, and specifically a 'creative mode' where all you do is build, no raids, no mobs etc. Using dev commands for building alone, not as an easy mode way to end game to kill bosses etc, has always been ok with the devs, which is why they tell you how to access them and use them quite openly. Every item used here is a game asset, unlike mods where foreign objects are brought in.
@2:30 even though I've done this so many times myself, I still gasped when you just demolished the whole tower you already built. That was so relatable hahaha. Even though it looks great, it just wasn't right for what you want to do next.
Still watching this video, but can already tell how amazing it is going to become. The time-lapse filming style is wonderful, relaxing, and super accessible to watch. Can't wait to continue watching this when I get home!

Favorite thing about building is when you have a “plan” or a concept and just watch it develop into something absolutely amazing!!

This has got to be the greatest build ever attempted since launch.
2:38 recently my friends and I were working on a mega build and we ended up messing up half the structure, we were all so mad that we had to tear it all down due to the shape of the build not being ideal for what we wanted to make. Seeing you rebuilding this part of the build just reminded me of it and how mad we were when we had to start over.
One of the greatest, if not the greatest build i've seen. Very good job!

Once again your build is both incredible and inspiring. I love all the textures you create by layering different building materials on top of each other. I also love how much more organic the spawned in rocks look this time around (loved your other dwarf build but this one is awesome!). I hope they add some options for Tunneling so you can actively hollow out a mountain or just the ground to build subterranean settlements.

As much as I love this, I also wish it was possible. I try to stick to builds that are actually possible. Im eagerly waiting for someones post of the ultimate underground base that was done via natural rock spawn, and the most ive ever seen together is 3, often only rarely 2. Great job by the way. Im also eagerly waiting to find that perfect natural rock placement to do something amazing underground.

Did you have some sort of building plan and blueprint or constructed it as you go?
I only planned the middle pillar and then the 4 bridges, the rest was all made up as I went along.

The snow drops on the rocks. So if you spawn a rock, snow will just spawn there.
