disclaimer Methods that are shown works great for me and they are not only methods out there, if you find this or any other method not comfortble, please use some other way.
Thank you and enjoy Хобби
Your work is always amazing. I really enjoy watching you turn, your cuts are so smooth, sharp tools in a master’s hands!
Thank you very much, I'm far from master but thank you very much
Great result and worthwhile inlay. That turned out perfect and is another example of you teaching us well, making a custom tool just for that purpose.
Thank you Jay
Those lines were a lot of work, but the crispness makes the effort worthwhile.
I agree as well, thank you Richard
Lovely piece! Enjoy seeing how you did the inlay. 🇺🇸👍
Thank you very much
This was an interesting 4 ways project and it has been quite enjoyable watching how each of you addressed the project. Very interesting use of the veneer, the effect is quite nice. Nice, elegant piece with just the right amount of decoration. Your's is the third I've watched, now off to see what Richard Raffan has done with this project. Thanks again to all of you for doing these monthly projects.
Thank you buddy for supporting what we do ☺️
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻Wonderful inlay technique. Have not seen that before. Thank you.
Thank you very much
See what thinking out of the disk can result in. The other three worked to what most of us read into the challenge. Tomislav just reads a bit differently. But that is the whole point of the little exercise. Well done Tomislav. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe🙂🙂
Thank you sir,I might missunderstud the task altogether😄 but end up quite nice.... Thank you for lovely words
The veneer was an interesting technique. It looks great.
Thank you
🕶love your work Tomislav.
Thank you sir 😀
Nice work Tomi, I love the inlay.
Thank you very much
Very nice take on the 4 way project.
You always offer a different spin, Tomi. 😉
Thanks Mike
Simplistic and beautiful.
Thank you
What a great inlay technique, and great information about the effect of end grain.
Thank you, glad you liked it
Very nice idea, one i can use in many different projects. Thank you !
Thank you,it another tehnique in your arsenal 😀
Very nice another great 4 way video.
Thank you, Tomislav!
Thank you sir for your support and kind donation....I really appriciate that
A nice touch with the inlay.
С огромным удовольствием посмотрел все четыре видео. Тема для меня новая и, реально, очень интересная. Полёт для фантазии безграничен!
Beautiful piece tomislav great method using the veneer another masterclass, cheers from will 👍 😊
Thanks Will
These 4 ways are so awesome. I look forward to seeing each of you demonstrate your response to the challenge each month. Thank you!
Thanks Johnny,we appriciate your support
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning I want to give this veneer approach a try. I never would have thought of doing it the way you showed.
That looks amazing.
Very nice Tomislav
You made a differ vase then I have see , And you did a very good job at it .
Thank you
Nice inlay technique
Turned out way better then I thought it would.
Now i know how i will finally use the those veneers that i had in the shop. Thank you Tomislav.
Glad to hear that ☺️ you have those inlays on your boxes😄 very discreet inlays
Thanks once again for your beautiful work.
That is a great inlay Tomislav! AMAZING idea! I can't wait to try it!
I'll be glad to see it
Your first segmented piece - very cool piece.
That is an awesome UFO. Really like the inlays. Keep up the awesome work. 👽
Thank you
Simple lines, but really nice! Thanks for sharing.
Heh, that's a different take on it than the other three! Lovely and interesting work on the inlay, though I wonder if the veneer might not show up to greater advantage laying flat. Thanks for another interesting, educational and entertaining video.
It may look interesting but I certainly have to think of clamping cauls on curved profile.... That is for another video 😀
I have a blank of figured maple I think I might have found the inspiration I needed. Beautiful, sir.
Glad to hear that ☺️
Thank you
I can just hope that I live long enough to try out all your creative ideas thank you very much
Thank you ☺️
lovely design and technique as always
cheers
Tony
Thanks Tony
Neat. if you apply one coat of finish along the groove first the the CA glue does not run. Same idea when filling cracks.
Love those projects and how the four of you approach them
Thank you
Tomislav, Another great idea on the inlay!!
Thank you
That's awesome!!
Thank you
I always look forward to these 4ways videos 😁
Glad to hear that, We appriciate that very much
Clever use of the veneer. However, I want a follow up video on a vertical canteen style bud vase similar to the others. You should use the veneer inlay on it, too.
We shall see 😀
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning You know your viewers want you to do it and I think you want to do it, too! I think Mr. Raffan would want you to try, too.
Great idea of the use of inlay.
Awesome again Tomislav 😊
Привет, Томислав. Великолепено, как и всегда. Очень интересное исполнение инкрустации. Ты её отделывал (22 мин) крылом резца. А почему не скребком? Ножницами получается более качественно?
Hi, thank you very much.
It was at hand and scraper was a bit dull and I wad lazy to shape the burr😄
Quite nice Tomislav! Enjoyed the turning! One little technical question: with the three in one what size of hole do you drill? My attempts were not very successful yet, either too large or too small for a good fit.
Thank you Alain, I drill for softer woods 7,5mm and for harder 8mm like maple, oak etc.
Wow nice one Thanks
I think they meant a disc in the vertical axis. However very nice technique with the veneer.
No, the idea of the four way challenge is to be different. Tomislav nailed it.🙂🙂
If you don’t mind, i’m going to try that one.
Please do
It’s a very beautiful piece and I’m curious what kind of glue did you use for your inlay?
Thin CA glue, thank you for watching
And you can use white Carpenters glue as well
Lovely piece Tomislav, who said a disc vase has to be vertical?
I guess it wasn't said but I might missunderstud our emails😂.... Well I'll have a video I guess on vertical as well
Thanks Tomislav!
When you said you were going to use a hammer to break off the inlays I thought you were joking!
I use hammer like Jeremy Clarkson 😉
Its accually old tehnique, nothing new
Richard Raffan step jaws in a Vicmarc chuck? I’m intrigued. Does he now have a line of jaws?
Vicmark sell step jaws that Richard design 20 years ago roughly
Oh I see! How silly of me not to have known that! Btw I love this project as usual and the way you embed the veneer on the end grain is ingenious. Thanks again for all you do! Scott
Great video! When will your refiner be available for purchase?
Thank you, final product is on the way so I can make lovely pictures and promotion video,so hopefully in couple of weeks if everything goes to plan
And will it be available in the UK?
To much work for the end result. Sorry
