    I bought my granddaughter an 1165 two years ago and we enjoy using it. She has a wood stand out front of my farm.

    Love my 2265! I definitely push it to its limit sometimes but it really can handle a lot more than you can think. Solid engineering. Well built. Worth the coin.

    I worked for Marco's father Bert years ago and built many hundreds of these machines. Simply the best splitter out there. Great design, it will keep 2 people running if you want to run them at full capacity. Also the longevity is second to none. Great videos Marco, you probably wouldnt remember me working there, since you were very just a young fellow then. 😉

    So I am really impressed with the fact that such a capable, efficient machine can be so easily moved around. That is a huge plus!

    That 2265 is impressive for its size! Fast and yet really easy to move around! I’m with you on not wanting to use a machine to move the splitter. 👍🏻👍🏻

      Yes they are!
      Yes it is something we try to offer on all our machines. However, at a certain point it becomes nearly impossible or unsafe with more awkward models.

    What an awesome machine and a great value with the log lift. Good work getting through that IBC tote so quickly while keeping a manageable pace.

      Yes they are an excellent machine! They are very similar to the 3290/3490 cycle time as well!

      @@SplitFireSalesInc coming from a standard type splitter, there would be a learning curve remembering you can split on the reverse stroke but once a person gets it down and muscle memory is established, I cannot imagine how much of a difference it would make!

    Hey love the looks of your new to you farm. I’m loving my 2265 I purchased I have 26 hrs. On her and she has done everything I’ve expected and some surprises along the way also in a good way. I added the hour meter to keep up with maintenance. But we love it the wife even enjoys running it .

    Beautiful piece of land you got there. That is a great looking splitter making quick work of that tote, a head to head against the new vertical one would be an idea if you guys got some time to kill.

    • @SplitFireSalesInc
      @SplitFireSalesInc  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks!
      Yes we might have to give that a try! It would be a pretty even fight if the wood splits easy. If the wood is tough than the 2265 will likely outperform the 1165.

    Marco I really enjoy your videos. I am trying to decide between the 3265 & 3465 as I really want the 8 inch lift for a 32" table height. However I do like the taller knife on the 3265! If the 2265 could be purchased at 32 inch deck height that would likely be sufficient for my needs. God bless!

    • @SplitFireSalesInc
      @SplitFireSalesInc  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks Glen! I am glad you do.
      Yes they all have their up sides. If you are taller I would not pass up the higher table.
      The 3265s taller wedge is nice if you split a lot of stringy wood. If you have lots of 'easy' splitting, you will likely not notice the shorter wedge on the 3465.
      Unfortunately the 2265 will not be offered with that lift.

    Thank you. How about moving the 1165V around, how do you pick it up (with your hands) and move around? I know you like the 2265 "which can be picked up and moved around by hand, don't need a tractor or atv", can you do the same for the 1165v? Can we see a video please on how you move it from the shed to the wood pile. Exactly as you have done with the 2265 in this video.

    • @SplitFireSalesInc
      @SplitFireSalesInc  6 месяцев назад

      One of the downsides of a vertical splitter is the difficulty of moving it. Due to the higher centre of gravity the machine cannot be lifted as high/moved easily.
      We will be looking for a good solution to this soon, either a handle or castor wheel/jack setup. Currently the machine can be moved by hand, but your average person won't want to be up to the task.
      Currently it is with an ATV or a garden tractor, but we will try to include that in a future video!

      They are pretty close!
      They both do share a similar construction, both designed to last a decade or more! When they do require replacing, they are relatively inexpensive and will be good for another 10+ years!
