I watched this video (and your Denali SoundBomb video) several times before trying it myself this weekend. Both videos were key to getting the job done [reasonably] quickly, and with great results. Thanks so much for posting these videos!

8 minutes of you trying to zip tie a relay to a frame. And dismantling half your bike. TIP: don’t take anything off, look up the front of your bike and you’ll see that same bar. Run your zip tie without the relay through the frame and fasten one click. Next place your relay between the zip ties and hold in place with one hand while maneuvering the zip ties in place over the relay with the other. Then tighten zip ties with one hand while holding the relay with the other. 5min part of the job tops.

Good informative video though. Don’t mean to be a troll. It just made me cringe on how hard you made that look.

I hear what your saying. After installing these lights, I’m much more aware & better informed. At the time, there were no install videos. Now I can knock this same install out in an hour.

I ditched the Clearwater harness. i installed using a Hex EZ Can. Much easier and cleaner of an install. I also HATE posi locks, or any type up butt connector. Everything on mine is soldiered and shrink wrapped

I thought Posi Taps were pretty decent. What don't you like about them that I should know? I just ordered a bunch and they are pricey...

    Nice explanations. Thank you.
How do you know which wires from the relay are for right versus left lights??
Asking cuz the Clearwater Canopener can flash left or right lights alternating with turn signals.

Hi, it’s been awhile since I installed these, but I believe the wires are color coded for each side.

Very nice, which bracket did you use? Their web site lists many different bracket options.

It all depends on where u want to mount the lights. On the OEM crashbar there 2 diameter 20mm or 25mm.

That side battery panel isn't so hard if you have fingers as thin as a credit card. ;-)

You did a great job but. I can't count the thing wrong with Clearwaters design. 1. exposed electrical connection on the relay 2. zip tie mounting of the relay 3 (micky mouse). exposed colored wires 4. (I want the wiring to blended in) 5. huge plug heads (why so big?) 6. I blame BMW for this one. What a lame lazy design to have the wires outside the crash bars. At lease have a cable chase molded to the bars. So all said and done is the dealer cast that off base?

I concur. I referred to the video uploaded by Clearwater. I installed my Ericas in 75 minutes and only removed the seat, battery cover and tank cover.
