To be fair that pretty Mexican Girl must be bilingual and sometimes you mix up the spellings when they are so close. HAMBURGUESA is the correct spelling in Spanish.

I grew up bilingual and with parents who had learned English in a British protectorate, and when I get flustered, my spelling gets all out of whack (American v. British spellings) and sometimes I find myself really struggling for words in whichever language I'm speaking.

@@LR3ONNEJ I think the point is that if she is, let's say, latina and use Spanish daily, it is easy to get the spelling mess up, as she is bilingual. So her struggle can be less about English and more about her usually writing it in another language. I personally have similar issues, sometimes I just cannot remember how to spell it in English, as my brain insists on the Portuguese spelling. That and being under pressure, it isn't hard to get to a point you just can't spell at all. Of course, I don't know her or her background, but it is something to take under consideration before judjing her. :)
