Thanks for the game you laid on us today! God bless. There are so many trucks and models and generations of trucks to choose from, it's great hearing real-world first-hand advice from a real dump truck business owner.
you are welcome
Mack is #1
And you know this man. lol
Thanks for the game CountryCEO
Thanks for the info big bro
Man I love your videos
thanks bro
My new favorite channel...
Thank you
I appreciate all of your information!! Im about to start in this business but torn between buying new or getting something used!! Such a hard decision🤦🏾♂️
Congrats on the start. Now that is something I can't help you determine. Everyone's situation is different. I will say just get a good truck. Lol. Send me a pic of that truck when you get it
Two questions please?? When you expanded your business for your drivers did you buy new or used and what company do you purchase from. Im located in Crossett Arkansas and thats a 15 minute drive to Louisiana. Thankyou for all of the information that you have provided. 👏🏾
I honestly don't see where it can be useful. The nature of this business doesn't operate that way
Buy used. Used but in good condition, of course. You'll spend probably 1/4 of the money, maybe less, and you get your feet wet. Once you start doing any business for a while, you start to learn deeply, and you start wanting certain things that you didn't know about before. So you get a cheap used dump truck to see what you really need and want or not, and then make a much more educated decision later if/when you decide to spend all that money for something brand new.
Great info. I think depending on what part of the country u can replace western star with either freighliner or International.
The Mercedes motors are bad news. The 60series detroit was a better option
Yes sir. I agree. Only seen 2 guys use Freightliner in 20 years. International maybe 2 as well. I totally agree it can be a geographical thing. Man that 60 series detroit is a good engine
thanks man
No problem!
May you do a video on which engines are best when looking for a dump truck ? I see people say Cummings, Ellison, Detroit…
I’m lost when it comes to the engines 🤦🏽♂️
Hey man, the mitsubishi dumper motor will give you a good run for your money, just remember to keep it lubricated, keep in mind in order to keep it running at full power always have it lubed up before you take it for a spin.
RIGHT!
Alright
I appreciate your content man. Very direct and informative. I’m a big man myself. 6’5 240 lbs. which of these 4 brands have the most legroom. I have long legs with a 36 inch inseam. I own a couple semi trucks but I’m switching over to the dump truck business as soon as I find one. I just need to be comfortable inside it.
Kenworth, Western star, and the Gu713 mack
@@thecountryceo3535 ok thanks. What about the 2019-up Volvo. Just yesterday, The Mack dealership salesman is saying that the Volvo are roomier than the Macks. He will be getting back to me about what he finds today. I don’t have any information about Volvo or I-Shifts in the dirt. My current truck has an Allison in it. I will not be trading it in. Are Volvo roomy legroom wise and is the I-Shift good in the dirt?
@@71cfree Yes very rooomy and can handle the pull off road
@@thecountryceo3535 ok good. Thanks again and I appreciate you.
@@thecountryceo3535 So I’m sure you know that its slim pickings out here for quints. The Volvo trucks were both sold. I’m only interested in Allison or an automated. I don’t like shifting gears. I found an available Peterbilt 567. Its roomy enough. I sat in one before. It has a MX-11 with the Eaton Ultrashift Plus. Is that a strong enough engine for 19 to 20 tons or is to small? Also, is that transmission free of problems nowadays and does it pull well in the dirt. I’m trying not to keep asking you. I’m definitely doing research on my own but some of the information out here is to vague. I’m seriously try to buy but I want the right truck and a reliable truck.
Really helpful video much needed insight I am now buying a Mitsubishi dumper because of u. Thanks so much. Best regards your dumper friend Hunter
Also, I really love the intro music adds a great touch really adds some thoughtfulness to this tough dumper decision.
@@huntercorte4768 No, I actually don't think it adds a nice element, I believe that a little peace of mind where we can meditate in the beginning would be more beneficial to my tough dumper decisions to be made in the future.
@@aricamhi4031 I strongly disagree with ur point as I do love a nice little soothing element to this strong and burly dumper that I am going to purchase.
@@huntercorte4768 I still am going to have to disagree, a tub of vaseline is currently next to me and I wish to not let it expire and eat it with my ripe bananas sitting in my warm dump truck, now with this vaseline and bananas I wish to eat them in peace before my dumping decisions and what to do.
@@aricamhi4031 I am currently fulling lubricated watching this video and I still strongly disagree with ur point.
Loving your videos. I have my LLC already. Building my credit to get a truck. you mentioned small box and big box but how would you ask the sales person?
18 yard is the small one
Great Info Country CEO, Hopefully you know who this is... lol The One & Only!!

Hello assuming all your specs from your spec video are met. What are your thoughts/experiences with Caterpillar dump trucks.
If the specs are right you should be ok
Nothing worth slapping momma about. That's funny. 😂
Lol I drive a Mack for a cement company called preferred now but I’m ready to buy me a dump truck . Also One thing I noticed is peter-built turn radius is not good .
I know for sure some older Petes generally turn wide
@@thecountryceo3535 Yeah but I was driving a 2021& 22 lol
@@greek835 Shoot i guess nothing has changed then. 🤔
Good Stuff brother! When expanding your fleet, did you go new or used? Just curious.
Thanks bro. I went new
@@thecountryceo3535 Mr Jones, maybe you could do one on your opinion/experience with different boxes. Ox Bodies vs Godwin or square vs elliptical vs half-round. Brother you have no idea how helpful you are!
@@righteousruckus bro you are on time. It is already recorded should play in a week or two.
@@righteousruckus The video monday deals with steel vs. aluminum dump bodies. I will do another on the different types and brands.
I have a question for you I hope to get a respond, what do you thing of Ford and Freightliner and izus and international? what is your top one and bottom one of this group? thanks for sharing your awesome experience!
1 freightliner 2. Ford. 3. International. never heard of or seen an isuzu dump
Gotta have a CAT in it lol
Mr.Perry does Atkinson rebuild the engines and or components, are they're trucks reliable, and work ready?
I dont know if they rebuild but they have a reputation for good trucks that are work ready yes
@@thecountryceo3535 Thanks alot,appreciate it.
@@nasirabdullatif no problem man always willing to help
What is a ideal size box ?
18-20 Yards
What is your opinion on a freightliner
The 2 I seen did well. Its all about the specs at the end of the day. If it is put together the ride way or bought as a factory dump truck it should be ok
Hey brother do you have an idea where to look for a dump truck for sale or recommend dealership?
truckpaper.com
@@thecountryceo3535 thanks brother
Do all trucks have the DEF system?
yes
How many miles are good on a used dump truck 2000--2010
normal wear on a truck is 50000 miles per year. so multiply years times the miles

Check out truckpaper.com and Atkinson Truck sales in Virginia or your local dealerships. Price will depend on year model and how much you want to spend
What do u think about a 1980 international 1724 model 60,000 originalmiles

Man, what about Caterpillar? Local dealer has one for 75k
1 or 2 here and are doing great
I’m taking notes! What if a guy wanted to run a day cab with a dump trailer. Is it still good money to be made in your experience?
depends on your location but yes indeed from asphalt to sand and gravel
Is it a good idea to have your own authority in the dump truck business?
I dont see a need for it or the benefit
@@thecountryceo3535 oh wow! You don’t need authority for Dump trucks?!
@@coreyallen2957 nope
@@thecountryceo3535 ok good to know!
Whats a good fuel card to get
Fuelman is popular down here but there are several out there if you Google fuel cards for fleets. What I did was just order extra debit cards but keep it mind I hired family and guys I knew personally for most of my time even now my guy I've known since childhood.
@@thecountryceo3535 its gonna be myself trying to get started
@@keonstokes5424 ok debit card should work
60000 pound rear end? The most I’ve seen these trucks rated at was 46000 pound rear end. Could you please explain?
Ricardo thanks bro. I misspoke on that! I surely meant to say 46000 pound rear ends. Again thanks
Mack makes 58,000 and 65,000 lb. rears in the SX's. Mostly coal trucks or N. East states.
Overhauled the same engine again in 6 months. Thats no good. You didn't get warranty on the 1st rebuild?
nope, dust got in again. no fault of the overhauler
@@thecountryceo3535 thats horrible ,it Should of be a recall or something on that. Smh
