I am perfectly happy with my 2019 Toyota C-HR. With that said, this Juke looks so much better than the previous model and I love how it comes with a manual transmission. A manual is not even an option for the C-HR although you can use "manual" mode with its CVT which simulates 7 gears but it is not the same as a true manual. It's a shame they replaced the Juke with the Kicks here in the US because this Juke looks to be a much, much better vehicle than the Kicks. Great review!

We own both a 2011 a and a 2015 Juke and love the idea of the return. I liked the quirky look of the old, it made it different, but the extra leg room in the backseat will be good. We first got into it because it was higher off the ground and easier for me with back issues, I'll miss that in the new one.

I own a Juke and love it. Yes it had some shortcomings, however, particularly the interior, it is definitely a fun car to drive plus lots of distinctive personality. I like the new Juke mostly for it's updated an more refined interior. The old Juke has a turbo so much more power. I love that. Tough call so can I buy a old Juke with the new interior and a duel clutch transmission?

    • @NextGenGamer1
      @NextGenGamer1 2 года назад +1

New Juke has the turbo and it is picking up speed much better than the old one. It's quite punchy and you have power in every gear so no need for downshifting. I bought one for my aunt. You would never guess it's a 1.0 3 cylinder. Also, I would recommend the manual. Much better power control and no turbo lag. The auto transmission felt like it wanted to even stall at some occasions while moving really slowly to park or on a hill.

@@NextGenGamer1 The drive is terrible though. I bought one after watching the JUkE review videos and the longer I have the car, the more I regret it. Today i was driving along when crash sensor went off - auto brakes applied, warning alerts were blaring but there was nothing in front of me. In a 80km zone this was not fun!!!! And this always happens!!! Very jumpy bunny hoppy drive - for 40000 AUD youd think theyd at least have the driving experience right. Seems as though they put their budget in the aesthetics but even that isnt amazing

I've been driving Juke now for 3½ years (Juke 1.6 DiG-T Tekna 4x4 CVT). Although the 2020 model looks the business it has, in my opinion, been seriously downgraded with a 3 cylinder 1000 cc engine, no 4wd and taking around 10 seconds to reach 60 mph. Having said that I will be visiting my local dealer for a test drive.

Boy i miss my 2012 Nissan Juke. The AWD was perhaps the best that I have ever experienced in a car. In the rain the thing could slaughter and corner anything. Mustang, Corvette, it didn't matter. On mountainous terrain that Turbo was a beast. It never failed me. Was such a sleeper. And fuel economy wise for just 9 gallons of gas it could go for miles and i routinely got 44 mpg on my commute. I will definitely be getting a first gen again. I had quad exhaust on it and was the only one in my city with that little modification. Unfortuntely at 76k miles the A/C compressor blew up and was a $2k dollar job. So i sold it for a 2013 BMW F30 with xdrive.....a far more thrilling ride, but honestly my Juke was more fun, and nimble. As for the "new" model i can't get myself to buy into it. The other thing is that the AWD system had some similarities with the GT-R.

It still looks like a Juke but more grown up and higher quality trim inside. I hope that Nissan bring in a self charging hybrid version and oh please a Nismo RS, but I'm not holding my breath! I still love the quirky styling of the original Juke even though it's a 10 year old design it still looks a modern design. Well done Nissan and great to be able to purchase a UK produced vehicle... very nice review one gets to know better the car and listening to the opinon from who knows abtou the matter is very imporant.
Now, i have a question for you that probably has no interest for you but when your thinking about buying the car, even if its the last thing you think, has importance ...the colour. I normaly go for the black cars so normaly i dont have that problem...but this fuji sunset colour with the black top looks very very nice...the problem its that i probably wont have any chance to see it before a buy the car. So my question is...when you look at it directly does it seams like when you see i in a screen? idoes it look better...worst...compared for example with the BURGUNDY RED. im sorry for making you this question but it would be an important detail to ear about from who has seen it live. thank you.

I have a new Qashqai 2019 Tekma Plus. The new Juke bares all the hallmarks of the Qashqai. It is now definitely worthy of being the little Sister to the Qashqai . The previous Juke was so hideous! The other was a proper Ladies SUV. The new one would definitely suit any man!
Well Done Nissan! Not sure about the 1.0L engine?
My Qashqai is 1.7 Diesel 4x4. Acceleration is not great on it from pull off! But hey, it is a nice motor!

For top spec at nearly £24,000 that hard scratch plastic on the door tops is awful. I also noticed the gloss black plastic on the backs of the front head rests. My dog would scratch them in the blink of an eye. For overall cabin quality I think it is well over priced. A fair comparison would be against the new Peugeot 2008 & Renault Capture.

That's pretty much the best looking small SUV on the market now. VW T-Cross looks good from the front, but the rear lets it down, and pretty much all others just look like raised up hatches.

To be fair, the new Nissan Juke is better than the old Juke. It has more space, a better interior, good safety equipment but at least the old Juke had a good range of engines for people to choose from.
I took it for a test drive last January and to be fair, it was grand around town, but as soon as you went on to a faster road, it was slow, it struggled to keep up with the traffic and you felt like you had to constantly change gear to get the best out of the engine.

After 10 yrs the original looks a bit dated now and the new version looks really good. But moving on 'up' from the 'tried and tested largely bombproof' 1.5 litre 4 cylinder diesel to a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder petrol seems like a massive downgrade. Any good for towing?

Even though I'm a big fan of German cars, I must say, I do consider purchasing the new juke. Looks refined and the CO2 is lower than the previous models, besides the interior is awesome. The price is affordable considering how expensive are Audi 3 or bmw1 or even Opel Adam

Great review. Very balanced comments. To me the new Juke looks better than the old version but has lost some of its character in the process. However, the new Juke still looks great and the interior is transformed.
