It's hard to complain about the game since it only has a $20 dollar price tag, especially with the cost of new release games these days.
I bought it this morning and started the download as I was walking out the door to go to work this morning.
I can't wait for my work day to be over so I can finally play this game I've been waiting years for!

Everyone was having the same problem. This game reminds me of Juiced with an upgrade but I'm liking it for what it is
OMG I loved Juiced! NFS Underground as well, but when that game was no more, Juiced took that spot for racing games, for me at least.

The Mobile version made me want to kermit sewer slide.
The PC version is so smooth even on a 14 year old pc with dated but still good hardware.
nice, but steam reviews say the opposite about new hardware, but maybe they had bad graphics drivers.
@@mtbboy1993haven’t read reviews, I’m running a steady fps with everything maxed out 😂 I’m on a r7 5800x3d and rx 7900 xtx, which yes should handle everything but also isn’t an expensive pc build anymore… controls take a while to get used to but they’ve made it a progress thing imo, the better handling parts you have the better car handles, kind of intuitive if you ask me… I started out on controller because I excepted it to feel better than a wheel just because Carx drift still feels better on controller than on a wheel

@@BossUpNikka Street on iPhone rarely has issues, but my friend who also owns a 15 Pro did say there are trees in the Mountain pass that occasionally glitch in and out.

It's a good game. The AI voices are disappointing but once the tutorial is over you never hear it again.
@@thequestbro Force feedback for a lot of wheels doesn't work, optimization is TERRIBLE, AI Voices, car handling feels like offbrand need for speed (need for speed handling is already bad), all in all just a bad experience

I remember back in the day video games used to have dialogue where people actually seems like they took the time to memorize the dialogue and be able to put the correct emotion into it. Nowadays it's almost like everyone is just reading off of a piece of paper.
Use boulder list windows instead of fullscreen to help FPS, Keep in mind use Racing+ for good grip stock tires for drift

I had no issues after calibrating my pedals and my wheel.
How? My pedals and wheel don't work but my shifter does -_-
@@devo6704 You have to assign the keybindings of each one under controls, you'll get a 10 second countdown and you just have to hit the button during that and it'll map that control. Afterwards hover over the keybind and you'll see an option at the bottom of the window to calibrate
nvm i had to calibrate "b66" in the controls menu
Anyone know how to map the handbrake. Mine registers on there but it doesn't so anything when I try set it. Doing my head in

Same issues with wheel but you can calibrate some the pedals and the wheel and that helps a bit. No drifting though. I have the CSL DD.

It's AI, and honestly i like it it's funny. The voice actors in Forza/NFS/Crew are unbearable but it's more annoying cus they actually spent money on them 🤣 these AI voices are terrible but in a funny way to me

Glad i watched this before buying it, Its put me off getting it if i am honest. Will wait for updates i think because i have the same wheel and pedals as you with fanatec shifter but i have a moza handbrake mounted to a Simlabs P1X.

Is what no real racer has said ever. Unless you’re driving a car with TC the level of a GT car, you turn that shit off as soon as you get in the car.

@@CaptainKoosh okay but cars can be tuned. The whole point of a game like this is multiple cars right? Part of the fun is having cars built to do specific roles. Hell in some games I have multiple copies of the same car because they’re tuned so vastly differently when it comes to handling. That’s part of what makes games like this last so long. The same car can have multiple personalities.
If you instead make it so you can just flip a switch and turn your grip car into a drift car magically, that’s not as special. Cars don’t feel as unique or like they have their own personality. They can just be something else with the flip of a switch. But that’s just my options as someone who does drive a lot of cars IRL
@@HeartbrokenHeartshooter I know, I’m not telling you its a good system. I prefer tuning my car too (and there’s tuning on the game) they just use TC as a quick on-off button for drift and grip. I was just letting you know how it works, thats why the original commenter said to turn the TC on.

I just want the game to register my handbrake, but to fix the pedals go to calibrate them and invert them, and idk if I need what to get to upgrade for a drift setup

Tried setting up my logitech g920 but the system doesn't recognize the gas pedal when I try to take off.
Those AI voicelines scratch my brain, but not in a good way. I guess it is easier to just make the script and let the AI do its thing, but it kinda sucks how QC let those lines in the final release.
£14.99 here what a cheap but great game might even buy it

i like how i saw a review about the ai voices on steam, and yeah they may be a bit jarring, but its practically still WIP aka early access, but looks good so far, excited to play it once my paycheck comes in.
But then why is it not marketed as such?
not an early access title. the current state of the game is not acceptable.
