3 problems with the game in this order. 1.) the ai racers and traffic are awful. 2) the self corrective steering needs to be able to be turned off. 3.) money is too hard to come by for a racing sandbox. Other than this the game is pretty dang good, i would agree it is like a better NFS these days
@@sutairs Go to suspension then buy front suspension arms. They need to be at least racing (red) so you can adjust them. Click upgrade, go to steering angle and slide the slider up. I know the tuning is hard. btw you cant adjust ackermann, camber etc with racing suspension arms
When you are in the tune shop, look for the parts that have a little yellow gear/cog on it, that allows you to fine tune things in the upgrade section.
Feels like an early access game tbh, the ai voicelines and images just feel like placeholders. I hope they do replace them but the amount of content you get for 20$ is insane

There is alot of traffic AI out to ram you ( and play Wreckfest) and the AI voice acting just isnt good ( Couldnt they just shove one into a soundbooth to record these few lines real quick?)
The physics are what to be expected from CarX if you haven’t Learned the Left Moon technique. The game has potential but issue the Economy & Reward, XP leveling is painful slow in the beginning, tuning fees make the game more unenjoyable to new players that don’t know what they are doing. Mostly resulting in players soft locking the game due to not having gas money or tires. 6/10

There's nothing wrong with not liking something. To each their own. There is however, something wrong with yelling that opinion around as if they have nothing better to do. Not to mention the countless people who buy a 20 bucks game, expecting 60 bucks quality.
There is a rule that all of the internet agrees on. All Steam reviews on a game(positive or negative) are well earned. If most of the reviews on this game is negative, this means the devs must look into the issue because there IS an issue. They also have the option to ignore the reviews and then they can join Concord as another dead game.
Not all of them are AI, I know that for sure. CarX Street started off as a mobile game, and certain art, like the bosses from earlier updates of the game (including Roxy) are (or at least have to be) made by people because they date to before the advent of accessible AI generation.

You Shouldn’t judge a game driving a entry level car the physics are not even in play till you get about 500hp, and a maxed out car in this game physics are S tier and nothing like NFS.
Yeah for sure. My problem is I’m using a 128hp miata, going around a slight bend at 100kph, and some how fish tailing and loosing control. But from what I read, downforce and tires play a big part in the physics.

5:20 that is one of my biggest problems right now. I will shift gears and it goes into neutral randomly. I thought I was just shifting wrong at first or something until it kept happening and I saw other people reporting the same issue. I am honestly enjoying the game from what I played but I don't even want to get on it rn cus I can't even shift gears reliably lmao
Not sure if its a compatibility issue with the steering wheels, but I noticed with my controller that it goes in neutral automatically if you stall out the car. Happens everytime I use the ebrake without clutching in first. The stalling mechanic is pretty good once you notice it, but going back into neutral everytime is a bit annoying.
@@cryptotic5257It's because you're stalling, I thought it was a bug but it's not. If you hold in the clutch then pull the e brake, you won't stall and you'll stay in gear

I love how my moza shifter feels but it had disconnected problems and moza wouldn't warranty it even tho I only had it a month so I took it apart and 3 or the wires were completely torn apart
pro tip from damn PvP in Euro Truck Sim 2 against the T-Bone: when there is a dude crossing you at an intersection, head towards them, not away obviously they are driving too, but my dumb ass always thinks I need some evasive manouvers.. but you dont lol they are doing to for you more or less
of course the content creators with high end graphics cards arent going bring up the performance issues that most players are experiencing so the devs wont fix it
I find it funny how everyone keep talking about traffic having blinkers but car x street didnt have blinkers and I feel like I'm responsible for it. I suggested traffic to have blinkers to make traffic more predictable and a few update later they had blinkers and driving never been better😂
And yes you are gonna get new updates cuz if you check the top right area of the map theres a race track thats still under construction but is already available on the mobile ver of the game
Nothing wrong with the game, would be a fair competition for NFS like games. But the GRIND for the high end parts and cars without paying real cash if atrocious. Killed it for me
I'd like to like this game but if it's about driving there's no driving at all unfortunately. 20$ or for free if it sucks it sucks. NFS games of early 2000's have better physics in 100x times than this one. Devs forgot it's not stupid android and it's god Gates daammit windows already.
To add on as well, you can change your spring height/stiffness to help when you pull the ebrake to drift :) negative and positive camber and what not. Everything in this game you can basically tweak and tune :)
Car x street on mobile is also quite great but needs a good phone for a smooth experience good thing I have it it's a great game been playing it since 2 years
$20 for the game, it’s pretty sick, a cheap game that somehow handles and has a lot more options than most triple A games like u said. Hopefully they release some nicer updates monthly or bigger and better ones every few months and keep the game up and running for a while
i have an issue with game performance. 1st time login is fine 60fps at high setting. but after playing for 30minutes the fps is draining to 15fps. but after close & open the game again ITS fine 60fps again 😅

I have it and there are my opinion: AI traffic is just bad, they are not smart at all, if you stay they are not going around, they just stop. In some races ai traffic is not random, in some of the sprint races a car turning from the same roade exactly when you arrive there. Phisics is not bad, I didn't try CarX Drift, but Phisics is better then the 2015 NFS, I think it is most likely the NFS heat. I better like the Phisics in Forza games, or simulator ones, but this doesn't wanna be a simulator, so Phisics is all right. Auto countersteer on controller is just frustrating, an option to turn this on/off would be good. Time attack races doesn't have a point. I mean you see the time you could beat, but in race there is no reference point or ghost car, that you can compare yourself where are you slower. Online Timeattack races does have this ghost car, so it could be fixed. Circuit races should count the actual lap, not just the 1st one and the overall. Offline racing is just boring, and if the game doesn't get a big hype, online ones will be boring too, so it is a risky choice to buy it. Maybe you will enjoy drifting, maybe dont. It would be better like I remember NFS Online, where you had like 2-5 cars for free in each category, if you spend some money, you could get more car or car pack that contained some car from each category. However it was a little pay to win, but they could do somehow to make as free to play, then when you have enough player to race, give them special items for money, or optic tuning could be paid after some level, maybe some racepass.
It's shocking the way you can buy this outright on PC yet on mobile it's free with extortionate micro transactions which is why I gave it about an hour then uninstalled. Have to admit the graphics and physics were spot on for a mobile game but there wasn't anything else going for it.
The AI voice overs are VERY cringe xD but the driving was passable. i havent tried drifting yet. also the progress seems very slow and seems like it carried over a lot of the ptw features

On mobile it is like concle you can drag the rear tires especially with a drift build you can get knarly and they do like 3 updates a month there last one they took away some controler things from mobile and I dont like it tho I got a c6 full ultimate drift build mk4 supra smokes tires thrugh any gear any tire even the ones that cost gold
drift wise, you need to tune it really. Sucks how they give u a stock car while people expects drifting at the start, which is why some people dont last till 2 hours.

It has great potential but there is a shit ton of issues with it at the moment... AI drivers, driving physics, terrible lag even at 1080p LOW settings just to mention a few... I love it but it needs improvement ASAP.
Just played for my own review. The game is awesome, Cool physics, nice night graphics, great inside view, some great rare cars. City full of traffic. It’s better than NFS Heat etc. The bad thing is SSD MANDATORY and huge overprice for Russia, it should be 1/4 if that price and not higher than TDUSC.
To me the physics feel really arcade-like compared to car x drift which says a lot. And its incredbly hard to build up money, leveling up is a whole other story. Played races non stop for 3 hours and got to level 4.
i played racing games for my whole life. it started with gran turismo 2 on ps1. i fucked up every turn with the porsche in the intro. i crashed in every barrier. its just slightly better than unbound. which is still very bad. they nailed the drifting before, now they fucked up both.
The game is a mix of drifting and realistic. You have to build a drift car to drift in this game. That being said I still see where you’re coming from.

the carx devs are actually pretty competent update wise so i have no doubt itll get better with time. they improved carx online a lot too before

I engine swapped the Miata and added some stabilizers to the from since I had a problem with oversteering. Hope this helps for your Miata :)

That is your pc slowing down from the struggle. Reduce your graphical settings
Make sure you have the game installed on an SSD because of it on a hard drive that's the issue

the problem is the stuttering LMAO some people have 3060 ti but still get stutters. this game has a bad optimization, hoping they will resolve it soon!
It has great potential but there is a shit ton of issues with it at the moment... AI drivers, driving physics, terrible lag even at 1080p LOW settings just to mention a few... I love it but it needs improvement ASAP.

Just played for my own review. The game is awesome, Cool physics, nice night graphics, great inside view, some great rare cars. City full of traffic. It’s better than NFS Heat etc. The bad thing is SSD MANDATORY and huge overprice for Russia, it should be 1/4 if that price and not higher than TDUSC.

To me the physics feel really arcade-like compared to car x drift which says a lot. And its incredbly hard to build up money, leveling up is a whole other story. Played races non stop for 3 hours and got to level 4.

i played racing games for my whole life. it started with gran turismo 2 on ps1.
i fucked up every turn with the porsche in the intro. i crashed in every barrier. its just slightly better than unbound. which is still very bad.
they nailed the drifting before, now they fucked up both.
The game is a mix of drifting and realistic. You have to build a drift car to drift in this game. That being said I still see where you’re coming from.
For the bluestacks its i think just the mobile version
I don't think it's worth it buying it since it's free on mobile
