The wind 💨 is probably annoying to play in, but it makes for an entertaining watch. This seems to me a good time to play this course; and a beautiful course, at that.
The socks game is rockin!! Putting into a strong headwind can make me want to stop playing or rip my disc in half. Tailwind is a trip. Tossing it 10ft above your normal target and watching it drop in can be a lot more interesting. Cheers
Unfortunately I am on the road right now so I cannot sign it unless I pop up in your city but I can let you know when I am home! Also I do not see an order!
Hmmm, 1st appearance of Sriracha that I recall was in the cup holder of Greta in the ‘cribs broke RUclipsr disc golfer edition’ And on that note, the best course snack for a long round is clearly a bite ready pocket hot dog.
@@tossingplastic just watched the Bayville video(a first for me) featuring not only Sriracha, but back up Sriracha. The video quality has improved since then. It was a bit grainy, but I believe Sriracha was spotted on some sign posts on a few of the tee shots as well
I still have my Magnet which was a hand-me-down from my older brother who bought it from a trunk at the course. I keep it as a memento. Been playing twenty years now and only started keeping score last season. Also just put a putter (envy) in my bag for the first time.
My local 6 hole course is always windy. Just played it a week ago with no wind for the first time, wow what a difference. Over threw baskets off the tee, side to side difference, crazy but super fun.
Love a good hot sauce. Currently I’m rocking a chalula with the wooden top because apparently there was some mass shortage of sriracha for awhile which necessitated expanding my hot sauce horizons
Yeah I just heard of a guy that hangs out at hole 1 of my home course from time to time selling discs. Calls it “Drew’s emporium” or something 😂 Rubs me wrong to hear of people not being able to do the same without threats. It goes against all my values as a human being who values the ability to live free on the earth. A man should be able to sell his wares without the government’s permission. He should be able to collect rainwater, hunt and fish and grow crops and build a home. Seems like there’s nowhere where a creature born onto this planet may simply exist freely without living under the authority of other men.
It's definitely a more open course for Michigan standards. Not the best for the conditions you had. I've walked that course 4 or 5 years ago when Mcbeth played the CCR Open. Double G scored the win. I lived in Nebraska for some years. You were always fighting windy conditions on the dg course. Only time I ever saw people selling discs outta of their trunk was leagues or tournaments. Safe travels 👍
I always think that distance and long holes don't make a good course. If I wanna still have a working arm at the end of a round I'll play a much more technical course. I've played in some really high winds and one shot the wind took my overstable distance driver flipped it over bounced off a roof twice hit a truck and rolled down a hill. It legitimately is probably the farthest I've ever thrown a disc
@@tossingplastic if you make it towards Atlanta again, a review of Perkerson would be awesome! Longs can be a real challenge, shorts are fun with some difficult shots here and there. Maybe I'll see you out there 🤙
As you were filming, I was thinking the same to myself: There is no way this is a top 60 course. Your channel alone has shown at least a dozen courses better than this one. It still looked fun though. BTW, has Craig been pressuring you to get back out on the road this winter, or are you staying in the mitten?
Thank you so much to all three of my youtube members! It's a great way to support the channel as I hit the road!
7:10 you can see the wind blowing everything so hard 😂😂😂😂
It was a disaster haha
The wind is brutal! The socks though…and sriracha 😂

It is beautiful and well maintained I will agree with that!

It can be a wild ride on the green sometimes haha
I bought a shirt and 3 discs. Can you sign one or all of the discs 🙏🏼 Your channel is so much fun to watch.

That is a great answer haha but Sriracha made it's first showing in my first video ever made!

@Alejandro_Guajiro that is correct haha! Thank you! I put a ton of effort into constantly trying to improve

@zero.the.prototype I'm all about keeping a good luck disc in the bag for a random open drive or approach!
Playing in the wind is fun. Disc be dancing.
I have fun for a while, then I get sick of it
Beef Jerky is the perfect snack
Just so dang expensive!

I bet it makes a difference for sure! Maybe I'll be lucky and find a no wind day soon
RIP DJ. Slinging Plastic all day at GW
Was he a local?
@ yea. Sellin out of his truck in the parking lot. Local Disc Golf Celebrity

I have hit by that shortage hard! Not big on chalula but hard times call for desperate measures !
Drinking beers would probably help understanding course design, as long as it later than 5 o'clock somewhere.
Does it really need to be later than 5 haha?
Great video!! But once again...when are we going to Deadwood?!?
Probably on my way home from my big trip!
Have you ever played with or met the guy from the Let's Go Disc Golf channel? He makes experimental discs too.
I have not done any collaborations!

That is extremely well said and I couldn't agree more!
Can u make a what’s in the bag for windy days
I usually just move stability, headwind go up in stability and tailwind down!

Yea the wind definitely took away from the experience! How similar is Nebraska to MI scenery wise?

Where you headed on your trip?
TN or Georgia!

My first video ever!

Yea its wildly overrated, I left this morning actually! I'll see if he pops up
What layout did you do? You seemed to mix up three different layouts. Short to long is the best IMO.
I always bounce around ! Does best for people scouting for a tournament!
Day 1 of requesting Leila Arboretum
That will be next summer sometime!
@@tossingplastic Sweet, you'll love it!
That course should not be ranked 57th in the world. It’s Flat, it’s open, it’s boring.
I wouldn't call it boring but agree it's over rated by quite a bit
