Tbh, if you've got the skill to do a song like this, you can normally do that speed for much longer then the song itself is. (He doesnt struggle at all) so for him probably not at all, maybe like what it'd feel like to squat 250lbs

Great playing, but everyone covering Genes playing seems to miss the great things he's doing, that makes his playing superb. Like in this song: the hammer blasts with china, hi is switching between right and left china every 6 hits. And that part at 0:50 u are missing those ride hits. I don't mind doing different kind of fills, unless they are something special, but the most flavorable and unique things in a song should be done in the cover in my opinion. Now that i have got this off my chest, could you possibly do the honor, and do the first and only proper cover of SYL- Almost Again that is played right? That would be perfect, and i also think u could pull that off!

I think if you convert these triplets to straight notes it would be 240 or something like that.

Obviously, both are great metal drummers, both of which did cool covers in their own unique way. Still, I think it's fair to say that somebody prefers one drummer's style over the other's. I personally prefer Eugene's style.
