People, now is the time to repent before the Lord and look to him for guidance. When you deviate from the ways of God, he is no longer obligated to protect you. The LA "River" has always been a flood channel, so it's normally dry anyway. It got built because of the flooding back in the 1930s. It's doing it's job right now.

If you are raised in southern California you know in advance what areas will flood. We are blessed with coastal access but the coast is also bracketed with hills and mesa , that all run water to the sea.. Ventura and Santa Barbara for 4 decades flood in the same areas over and over.
Be smart dont play in the water and prepare for next year. On the good side...what drought? i am in the bay area sf and all flood channels are working...too bad it will run out to the sea.

With all the bad weather hitting California. In my opinion, it is a wake-up call. Because that state has gone straight to hell in a hand basket. Peace people.

Odd, it's been just fine in the 38 years I've lived here. Well besides the endless droves of out of transplants that caused housing prices to skyrocket. I'm sure politics has NOTHING to do with this.. lmao

I don't understand this habit of newscasters, especially on ABC, starting a broadcast with "We do begin..." David Muir says it every night. It sounds stupid.

With the shift of the climate, will insurance companies bail on California all together, and the extreme droughts thru out the country is this the new norm or is this the beginning.

100 year flood probably. Saw one back in the 1960s. Watch the hillsides. Lots of unsafe developments.
