Hi Linda! Thank you so much for watching and for your helpful comments! I actually have a few because Google had updated this system recently. The first link is from Classroom and the second is the rest are more traditional. Hope that helps and do let me know if you ever have any questions! Thank you once again :) ruclips.net/video/Qqdl2G6y3Ws/видео.html (Meet - Teacher and Student Version - Google Classroom), ruclips.net/video/GBPc_hfszms/видео.html (Meet - Teacher Version - Website), ruclips.net/video/oA3TYrqxQqU/видео.html (Meet - Student Version - iPad) and ruclips.net/video/ETa9CsQCP90/видео.html (Meet - Student Version - PC)
Yes i think this video is helpful for me as a student to join a google classroom and it also helps me to know the different types of assignment in classroom tabs and how to submit the assignment.
Hello. I am not able to see the turn in button anywhere. Only thing I can see is: 'Mark as done' in Google classroom And 'Share' in the docs. What do I do?
Hi Deepti! "Turn in" only appears when the teacher has an ATTACHMENT they want you to fill out, or if you attach or create a Google Doc, Google slide, etc. By default, if there was no attachment, Google Classroom will say "Mark as Done." It has the same effect because it lets the teacher know you did the work. So when you click "Mark as Done" it will also let the teacher see you did the work and therefore you will have still submitted the assignment. Any Doc you attach to the assignment is also automatically shared, so you don't need to worry about sharing with the teacher. Hope that helps and thank you for watching! :)
Hi Jossepheen! You can share a RUclips video by going to the class stream. Click on where it says “Share something with your class” on the Stream, and click the RUclips logo. That will bring up a search bar and when you type the video name, it will come up. Do let me know if you have any questions and thank you for watching!
Be sure to thank your teacher on my behalf for the views, Jon! Now, if only teachers could give extra credit for subscribing. JK; Thanks for watching Jon! :)
Hi! Yes-there is a way to turn on closed captions to assist students. On a PC: At the bottom of the Meet window, click Turn on captions or Turn off captions. You might have to click More first. Tip: If the captions are covered by your call controls, click anywhere else inside the Meet window to dismiss them. On Android: At the top of the Meet app, tap Turn on captions Turn on captions or Turn off captions Turn off captions. You might have to tap More (a button with three dots on it) first. On iPad/iPhone: At the top of the Meet app, tap Turn on captions Turn on captions or Turn off captions Turn off captions. You might have to tap More first. Hope that helps and do let me know if you have any questions!
Hi! Sorry I didn't have mobile access when I made this tutorial. Are there any questions I can help with on the mobile end? Let me know and I'd be happy to help out :)
Hello, thanks for the tutorial. This can be very useful for High School and College kids, but unfortunately this is useless for middle school, and especially elementary students. The interface for these kids is dull and does not have any way to keep the kids engage at this grade level. Do you know a better platform which can help kids especially elementary students? Thanks.
Hi Willie! Very true; this is most certainly too drab for anyone who is younger. The most customization option I have seen are themes/colors, but those rarely seem to address the seemingly workman-like interface. A platform like Nearpod might be nicer, but it is unfortunately more for presentations. Teams would be too complicated for younger learners. So while there are places for nice, interactive lessons, I personally do not know if any platform is designed to be engaging enough for younger students. If I ever learn anything, will definitely let you know! Thank you for watching Willie!
Unfortunately not haha! I just sped those parts up because I thought no one would be interested in my slow typing. :) Thanks for watching and commenting Laurence!
Hi Najah! Unfortunately, I don't have a phone that can record so don't have a video, but I can try to answer some of your questions. Anything specific I can help with? :)
@@PakistaniPepper thank you , son worry about it the are really similar so I am sure I will be able to handle it plus your video was very helpful but if anything comes up I will be sure to let you know😁
Hi Nikhilesh--as a student you can unenroll from a class by going to the three dots on the main page next to the class and then click "Unenroll." You will have to enroll again if you wish to join the class. Hope that helps! :)
Hi! You can definitely change the way your name is displayed, but that applies to ALL Google apps. If you go to your Google settings at myaccount.google.com, you can change your name under Personal Info. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!
good day. my students click submit for the quizzes, but i'm not getting to see their work. its marked 'handed in' but i can't view it as its saying no work attached. help please.
Forms can be frustrating at first, but they really are a huge time-saver! First, you need to locate your original quiz template. It acts like a mini-database, gathering all the student data in one form -- your master. At the top, you should have the option to view "questions" or "responses." Once you click the "responses" tab, you may choose either a "summary" view of the whole class (default) or "individual" responses. Use the little arrows at top to toggle from one student to the next. Good luck!
Hi Selvin! Linda bellow just gave an answer that covers every detail I would have given so definitely recommend following her steps! Thanks for watching!
Hi Norma! Unfortunately, I only work with high schoolers but the software doesn't change so maybe your kids might be able to follow it? But I realize it might be a bit tough for them because I am used to speaking to high schoolers so I found a tutorial by someone else that was aimed at kindergarten: maybe this might help? ruclips.net/video/oIbCuk4-ZLQ/видео.html Hope that helps and do let me know if you have any questions; thank you for watching! :)
Hi! Classroom uses the language setting of your google account. To change the language of your Google account, follow these steps: Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in, Click Data & personalization, Scroll down to the General preferences for the web panel, Click Language, Select Edit and Choose your language from the dropdown box, and click Select. Hope that helps and let me know if I can help further!
Hi Joanna! They can upload photos as the answer to an Assignment, but so far as I know, they can only comment on Materials and cannot post photos as a reply to that type of upload. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Yes--everything here can be done on the phone! The only key difference is that the web browser version is not particularly good, so I would highly recommend downloading Google Classroom, and also Google Docs since that is the one I see myself using most often in the class. Hope that helps and thank you for watching! :)
who else’s teacher sent them this
I guess I have to thank your teacher haha. Thanks for watching Liz!
