We used to wrestle those big ass only templates too. You can lay them out by finding center and actually drawl out "only" on the road with lay out paint then free hand over the top with plastic that way you can ditch the templates thier to inefficient. Use a shingle at the bottom if your needing a clean edge. Just a tip from one road hand to another lol y'all stay safe
We use pre form for most of our (only) and (school) and bike lanes, better than the templates in my opinion, plus there is no major clean up or waste of material
Do you have problems keeping your pot hot ? I sure did I had to put a new gas regulator to allow more propane flow . Alot of people are switching from liquid to vapor

I haven't. The one here in the video is about 4 years old. I just got in another about a month so I use two now. I run oil temp at 400.
