FYI - That is not paint, it's molten plastic, you can see steam rising from the pot, and it's called thermoplastic material, application temperature 400-440F.

Those machines are really awesome!! And expensive for the sprayer type. I repair these machines and the repairs can run into the thousands of dollars if they have not been taken care of!

I use a striping machine. (A Graco LineLazer) This is neat, but damn. My back hurts just watching them handies and hashes being done like that.

Most of these are going at double speed.
On a fresh new road it’s very easy, but an old dusty road that’s when it’s hard 😊
So awesome. I bet some of that painting can do a real job on your lower back after a while, though.

so why is the paint steaming? Is it just a really cold day or is the paint really hot when it's laid down?
They heat up the paint soo it will dry faster.
It’s thermoplastic, usually get to 180° to work with. And drys in seconds.
