I have Rescue & Restore for a few days now, and I really think it's their best work yet. Like JB said, very dynamic, and really a step up in terms of songwriting. It's really fucking good.
and i think that really adds to the band itself. Metal isn't about a look, or a personality, or necessarily even the sound. It's the emotion that drives it. By looking like an average person or neighbor, you get that welcome feel to the band, and the normal emotions that everyone deals with, but in a heavier style.
No dislikes on this video - just how it should be! I really love that they are trying to make each record different in its own way, not just making another heavy record that basically sounds the same.

Ryan Cromer Nah I'd say he gives a great show but his vocals for 'Identity' at Warped was just so lackluster. Especially when the ending of the song came in it just felt even more lackluster. But I think that if he just lost some weight, he would have more stamina and energy to give more oomph in his vocals.
Alex Grant i don't know if the over layers are that bad though. to me it just makes the vocals more thick. His voice still sounds great live, it's just that I think he gets too exhausted.
He came to my youth group a couple years ago. He's such a cool guy.
This is by far my favorite ABR album. Love these guys.
Actually they do have a look; they dress like casual people rather than just throwing on black clothes like everyone else, and I love that about them.
These dudes were my first concert and have been my favorite band for about 6 years
