I wonder why this reviewer looks for things in this Mazda (e.g. panoramic sunroof) which he can't find in his favourite brand/model (CRV). Such useless irony which makes me doubt the objectivity of the review. And he says this is affordable at 2M🤣. Mazda cars are never affordable! 😅
The cx-5 is already an old platform and the outdated infotainment system in the ph market they brought is not helping in persuading many buyers from purchasing this 2024 cx-5 especially knowing that in other markets that the new infotainment is already installed. For its demanding price it should have all the bells and whistles. Heck even their cheapest offering the Mazda 2 priced at around 1.2 million still has the old infotainment while in other markets at least the 1st generation mzd connect is the bigger and sharper infotainment system, they should have brought that in and I am not expecting the new infotainment on that also just recently added in the jdm Mazda 2s.
Hoping that mazda phils. would update it's infotainment soon gaya abroad na malaki na.
Mas in control ka
If you prioritize having all the latest features, go for the Ford Territory. If you want the most comfort and best driving experience, go for the Mazda CX-5. 😊
Mazda's decision to not have fog lights is a deal breaker. I've driven a CX-5 at night without fog lights and your vision to your direct front left and direct front right are severely affected. You're blind to your peripherals. Probably why they're not selling as much as their competitors. All my cars have had fog lights and the difference is massive.
Fog lights are the most useless thing ever with new lighting technologies they made fog lights even more unnecessary hence more and more manufacturers are removing them. I don't know about you but 3 of my cars have fog light and i don't really see that much improvement driving at night unless you're in a very dark area without much lighting manuevering and stuff. It makes more sense just upgrading the headlight.
Many new vehicles no longer come with fog lights thanks to new lighting technology. Using fog lights is only for low visibility conditions and not for clear weather. Improperly using them makes it unsafe for other drivers.
@@evoemperor3776 My lights are LED's and fog lights, like what I said, improve peripheral visibility. The new lighting tech you speak of are only for medium to long range. I'm talking about point blank range using fog lights. Here in Cebu, some roads in the city aren't lit up and fog lights are very popular here. If there's a useless car tech, it's sunroofs and moonroofs.

Agree! 👍
That infotainment screen in mid to late 2024 is just insulting.
Agree.. it’s a dealbreaker

Boss 1st day of driving my Mazda CX5 2024 Sport 2.5ltrs turbo medyo mabigat lang ang steering wheel but worth it from Prairies, Saskatchewan 🇨🇦

This or the Territory Titanium X?

This is about half a million > Territory with much less features. Go with the territory.
The BYD sealion6 at 1.6M is a better deal.
Why is BYD sealion6 better to buy?
Mazda cars are always a head turner
We have another Mazda review coming! 😉
@@AutoPH sana cx 60 hehe
Rather buy the Forester for it’s features and a spacey interior.

I don’t even use fog lights.
Fog lights are use to make u visible, hindi sya secondary head light🥲

Best thing about 2024 cx5 is that it does NOT come with i-stop and cylinder de-activation.
