It’s worryingly that a PCSO is saying he has warrant card. He probably genuinely believes his police staff ID card is a warrant card, as we see regularly in these videos (along with PCSOs unbelievably claiming they don’t even know what a designation card is). This is such a widespread problem that demonstrates police forces are failing to comply with the requirements of Section 38 of the Police Reform Act 2002, therefore chief constables are breaking the law, but as there’s no public body checking compliance, they’re never held to account.
