    Said it before. Whether you're a fan of AB or not, this is FREE training for our police force that would otherwise likely cost us taxpayers hundreds of thousands of pounds. The money he's claimed for wrongful arrests and searches is very much worth it.

      I've noticed a few coppers refusing to learn the law.. They would rather give it the "That's news to me.." and ignore than get their phones out and look like they're not the boss. I can kind of understand that in the street but there's no excuse for not going home and learning what to say next time, so you don't end up looking like a muppet in court, or on camera.

      In a lot of these auditing videos, and across various different auditors, the sergeants seem to be the worst behaving rank, worse than both their junior and senior ranks.

      Needs disciplining for that, in my opinion. That aggressive attitude, purposefully encroaching on AB's very up and close personal space, intimidation (which laughably didn't work in the slightest) all points to a disciplinary. What's worse for the muppet is AB took away ALL of the only authority he thought he had with a few words, and now he feels like a numpty.

      There is another auditor had an argument over a car being parked in the very same spot. So I’m sure it’s habitual. I guarantee that a car is parked there every day. It’s not ticketed so it’s a police car. Would another person have been searched? Of course they would have been they’re as corrupt as 🤬

      It is quite lawful to look inside any vehicle in a public place as the interior of a vehicle in public is considered to be a public place. The Police seem to want to have the power to do that themselves but are not all that keen when the public do it. The Police in this video also seem to be missed the legal training session when they discussed the fact that the public do not have to assist them in any investigation.

      @@chuck8094 .... True. That is a term used mainly in the USA from my experience but it does cover the legal precedent I mentioned. That ruling was made before speed cameras and other Police enforcement cameras existed but the Police are quite happy to use that precedent to allow them to photograph the interior of vehicles, and the occupants. Auditors are correct when they respond," And what is wrong with that?" , and that is why the Police then move onto the allegation of interfering with the vehicle.

    Again. Comment for all the people saying 'he baited them'. How can he bait them into breaking policy? Speaking on police matters in plain clothes without showing warrant card. Speaking rudely to a member of a public. Aggression, intimidation and allowing breaking the law. Accosting and antagonizing a citizen. Trying to control how talk goes, where he stands.. After noticing they can't intimidate him with 'I will arrest you, I will search you', they start to lie and manipulate. Police Constables cannot be aggravated or feeling harassed, alarmed or distressed. You are SUPPOSED TO TAKE ABUSE.
    This is how they act when cameras are not around and they don't like your answers. Like thugs. Imagine if the younger PC didn't recognize him. Another civil claim that would be 100% won by AB.

      They disregarded the instructions of their Sergeant and also the Detectives. That takes balls in a job where those above you can make your life a living hell.

      @@johnvienta7622 I agree with johnvienta7622. We can't know whether they would have started something like this on their own if they had not recognised AB. Doing this was the fundamental problem. Recognising AB pushed them towards having the courage to disobey a command from their sergeant. Had it been someone other than AB, the risk of getting in trouble for disobeying the sergeant would have been far greater, and it would have been far less clear that their sergeant did not have a legitimate reason for the search.
      That's the problem with all command structures. Often there is no time to communicate all the details that justify a command, and even when there is, people are often too lazy, too bad with language or too agitated to do it. Therefore when someone new arrives on the scene, it is the normal case, not an exception, that they don't really understand what's going on. But they are still expected to follow all commands whose basis they don't understand. Except, of course, for commands that they _know_ to be illegal. But that's a very high bar that is rarely met. Arguably it wasn't even met in this case. This is why refusing to follow the command took courage.

      A flatmate's car was stolen outside the police station in Northampton and returned after a joyride as a complete right off. He wanted to report it and the cops told him to get lost. Granted he was drunk.

    Well done that junior officer very professional diffuse the situation and saved his colleagues from further embarrassment. Give that man a teaching role within the force. You should be thanking AB for his work because this young man is a product of having watched many of these videos highlighting the problem, with the us versus them approach this man is to be commended.     The bald officer needs to learn the difference between what sarcasm is and facts are. AB responded with facts and statements which the bald officer repeatedly interpreted as sarcasm. Twisted or what? Imagine being questioned by.him…he’s dangerous with his twisted use of language. Glad the PC had a brain and knew how to behave as an officer, well done.

    The two lads said something very interesting "if the Sargent wanted you searched he could do it himself" just shows they've been shifting responsibility for unlawful stop and searches by getting lower ranked pcs to conduct the search. Any officer suggesting to a lower rank they should search someone is as good as clear proof of knowing a search is unlawful

    Well, Sergeant Melt just lost all credibility in Coventry. Nice to see Constables not just blindly following orders and using their heads instead. The Sergeant though...wow... very low quality. When he insulted you too I am quite sure he breached The Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020 and The Code of Ethics (College of Policing) and, for a Sergeant this should be no light touch matter!
