    Oh my goodness Diane! What a treat to see three painting tutorials in this video! I continue to learn so much from you. I love water and beach paintings but never seem to be able to capture the look, especially reflections. You made this very achievable, as you always do in all of your tutorials. I love your people painting technique. I so enjoy how you go with the flow, just letting your imagination take you where it will. The other day I was taking about your channel with a friend and was asking myself what makes you my favorite artist/instructor, and there are many things. Your unique style, peacefulness of your videos, precious surprises here and there of seeing your beloved animals, your story telling, videography, (thank you Tamsin). As I was explaining your channel to her, I realized another couple of things that really draws me to your channel and it is because of the pace of your videos, and the gift you have of helping your students to gain confidence. Your clear instructions really do make all of your paintings achievable. Sorry for the long message, but there's just so much I appreciate about you! I look forward to giving all three of these paintings a try. By the way, another one of my friend's sent me a message saying she's "Liked" and "Subscribed" to your channel. It's so fun seeing your channel grow! It must be a very rewarding feeling knowing you are sharing your gift with so many people. You are changing lives in a positive way. Thank you!

    I really enjoy these types of paintings...I do really like your birds, & animal ones - but I too am trying to learn to paint looser....As an acrylic painter I often paint details and I am trying to learn to let imagination take over....Thank you for these. I love them.

    Thank you for making this video. I usually watch it through and just watch, and then watch again and paint with it. Thank you for making this wonderful example of loose painting with no sketching, especially showing how to do people. I’ve watched a couple of the loose painting videos you suggested in a reply, and will watch more. This method also helps me paint not so small. Oh and today just now I ordered quinacrodone gold. There just is not a color like it, and I like that it looks more yellow when diluted and more gold-brown when used stronger.

    I too have never managed landscapes they just look so stiff when I do them. Thank you for these techniques I too will be trying them. Do you have a Facebook group where we can share it versions of your demonstrations and much needed help videos. Thank you so much for being so generous of your time and your patience. I love watching and listening to you work. Many thanks for your inspiration. It has really got me into watercolour which previously I have avoided in favour of dry pastels. I'm over the moon. I love the control on the sound track. Made me think of my time living in France I miss it so much.xx

      Hi and thanks so much for your lovely comment! I do have Facebook groups. The biggest one is Learn to Paint Watercolor, which everyone can join. Then I also have a private group for members of the channel - if you subscribe to the Membership and support the channel you can join the Diane Antone Studio Private Members Group and that one I personally admin and comment on painting which are posted. The other group is bigger and we have other admins who offer advice. Hope this helps - landscapes don't need to be complicated and daunting, and if you like a loose style it's easy to learn how to make a pretty good landscape.Thanks again for your support x

    What is the yellow that doesn't turn green when painted next to blue?

    • @DianeAntoneStudio
      @DianeAntoneStudio  2 года назад

      Hi, thanks for your question - I think you mean Naples Yellow, which is an opaque yellow often used in skies as it resists mixing with the blue pigment. Hope this helps x
