It’s really interesting that you both have different lifepaths outside of stand-up and vastly different life goals. Stand-up is your common denominator but what you wanna do with it and how you’re both shaping it towards different ends is so cool! Like Vanessa isn’t an actor but writes for actors in a comedy sketch show and wants to act as an overexaggerated version of herself on tour and in specials. And you just wanna write an autobiography-turn-screenplay. And seeing you both take steps towards that via standup in different ways is sooo… fascinating. It inspires me actually. I don’t know what I want to do with my life. But this showed me that the world is my oyster, I have free will (debatable) and the little things I do now toward doing what I want (when I find it) will mean something.
