‘Salt & Sawdust’ is a light story that reflects a young couple’s dreams and ambitions. Swamy works in a factory and Veena is a housewife. Veena is a bad cook, so Swamy cooks everyday before going to work. Veena harbors dreams of becoming a writer and Swamy brings her a notebook to write. Many days and months pass, and Veena has not progressed much with her story. Finally, with the help of Swamy, Veena manages to complete a story. The story is a comedy and tells the tale of a Chinese dentist who falls in love with his toothless patient and how they get married. Swamy is a very good cook, and he has a brilliant idea. He suggest that the story should not merely mention the grand wedding but also give details of what food was served at the banquet with details of every dish. He also suggests that the recipe of the food served should form a detailed portion for people to appreciate the book. Finally they send it to the publishers. The story ends hilariously when the publishers want to print only the recipes and not the story! Thus, Veena who does not know how to cook becomes a famous recipe writer with the help of her husband Swamy!

Jisko obsession hota hai wo har jagah yahi dekhta hai. Itna jealous feel karne ki bajae us cheez pe dhyan do jo achi lagti hai. Jo cheez pasand nhi har jagah wohi dikhti hai. I can't imagine watching a show n thinking ki makeup ya kapde kya hain. Im focused on the story and the characters. Aapko yahi sab dikhta hai to aapko makeup aur kapdon ka itna obsession hai itna unko b nhi jo karte hain.

@@voxzippy2817 I completely agree with your statements, indeed we lost a gem. at 36 he directed the great Rajkumar, we are lucky to witness such a gem. I like even Mr. Anantnag, such a delight to see him on screen. Malgudi is on par with Mahabharat or Ramayan, no words to compare such a genius. Kannada industry would have flourished under him. Just hope we get rid of these masala movies and bring in more inspired directors to match him and create some real cinema which will cherish forever just like we appreciate Shankar Nag even now!

Anxiety here as well, of the generalized kind. Same story here- was a kid, not anymore. I watch Malgudi, Amravati ki Kathayein, Byomkesh bakshi, Wagle ki Duniya, Mitti ke Rang, Yatra, the most. And toons....hmmm...my favorite toon is The Flintstones. I take a 💊 for my anxiety. Didn't write the chemical name here on purpose. You could reply back to me and we could perhaps feel better by sharing whatsoever is comfortable to us. Of course, sharing the past and conditions isn't recommended on a public platform like tube. There are other apps. Regards and I wish you're able to do better in the coming days and weeks. I understand how debilitating it can be. It's quite tough for the society to understand what exactly is it till they experience symptoms themselves!

When I was 13-14 years old we got watch Indian TV program as we used to live in India Bangladesh border area. It was only two years but me and my sister learnt to speak Hindi and watched so many nice old Hindi film and TV serial. My also loved them. This one was one of the favourites. Since then I remember the tune tananana and kept singing but never thought I could watch them again! Thank you millions ❤ I shared with my sister too.
