- Bihar_Status of Women_Struggle. Here is for another master piece which I created under FTII umbrella. It was a great learning and experience.
Present to you a short story and one of the example of what women go through in villages or in towns. The struggle is never ending, let's all educate each other and spread awareness of our rights to change the society for better.

At first I was listening and watching the beautiful songs sang by Deepali Sahay ji, then I came to watch this short movie.. I loved it.
ये क्या संदेश देना चाहते हो?? बेटी से पैर धुलवाने में शर्म नहीं आई?? मेरे यहाँ तो बेटी के पैर पूजे जाते हैं। हो सकता है किसी और जगह बेटी के पैर न पूजे जाते हों लेकिन ये तो निश्चित है कि बेटी से पैर भारत में कहीं न धुलवाते होंगें। 4:07

Today I'm proud to be a FTIIan to see a fellow FTIIan's creation.
Much I liked the soft Manjir sound used towards the later part.
It enhanced the sensation several folds.
Very good acting of all the characters especially Kanti's mother & the messenger.

What's meaning of kanti and kunti??
She left the house with her child. On that paper she wrote, ‘My name is Kanti, not Kunti!’ Which means she is denies being the character’Kunti’ of the epic ‘Mahabharata’. Kunti abandoned her first child when she had become a virgin mother. That’s the parallel she draws!
Mahabharata is a ancient Hindu mythological text written by Ved Vyasa. In this epic there is a character named Kunti, and she became pregnant without marriage, she abandoned her child(son) in river. But her son survived and fostered by other couple who didn't have their own kid. So they raised him as their own.
That's why in this vedio she says, she is not Kunti ( who abandoned her kid) !!

साहित्यिक कथाओं का ईमानदारी से फिल्मांकन अत्यंत दुष्कर होता है. पर जिस सुंदरता से दीपाली ने इसे फिल्म पर उकेरा है उसकी जितनी भी प्रशंसा की जाए कम है.
एके टीस रह गईल कि एह फिल्म के भाषा कथा के मूल भाषा भोजपुरी ही रहित त चार चाँद अउर लाग गईल रहित।

No doubt u done brilliant job. congrats. looking the lacuna of a screenplay u must go for some complex situational drama which can kill dearth of mental emotions in viewers mind. so that nascent angle can be drawn in favor of u r career to build u as a good director. background score was awesome- next time try to add more . i liked it this one too. wishes for success.

@@MohdShoaib-bg2um there is a legend associated with kunti...she was mother of pandavas from Mahabharata.....but before marriage...she did a lot of tap and hospitality to sages...n in return she got a boon to be mother of a child who will be very perfect...n she got pregnant....n thus to escape from society's questions ...she just took her child n made him flow in river.....with jewellery and everything...so that...anyone else could get him and they can take care of him....he was karn

What a story...what a direction and acting...specially of Kanti's Mother...Kanti's mother character had enough space to showcase her talent and the artist really did justice with this....the camera work, light work with lamps is greatly framed...the home is shown with great technical sense of the cameraman.......
The story shows the real essence of India's poverty and the curse of dowery....dowery has made lives of both Indians and Pakistan miserable and very complicated to live for poor class.....
Great work from the director, producerd to show us such deep and intense story in a reality mode...BTW I am from Pakistan and a great admirer of Indian parallel cinema of late 70's and 80's.

Yes … it definitely is an old time custom… and this is a film.. it’s a story inspired from true events! And a story can be told… good or bad… it can definitely be told… it doesn’t hamper the image…it rather documents the old customs and tradition which people like you use as an example to compare today’s progressive times with… it is to be considered like that… and not as an image destroyer
