definitely! all the basic living costs that u need to pay are for rent, health insurance and like a monthly tax which is less than €20/mo. So it all depends on how much you pay for rent since accomodation price depends largely on where u live & what kind of room u get and also your lifestyle in general. But with €900 a month it’s definitely more than enough to cover all the basic living costs.

You can pretty much get a rough calculation and also count on how much you’d need to pay for monthly rent, food etc based on the average cost of rent in the area you intend to live in.

Hi, the internet works just fine, i have no problem using it for youtube, netflix and zoom conferences. I personally just use a wifi router so i can connect the wifi to both my laptop and phone.

Anyway, the room is a private room with own kicthen & bathroom inside. It’s in a student residential complex, there are other types of room in other buildings aswell.

The will be discrimination, no place in the world is free of it. But as far as I know, most of the Germans are friendly and open-minded people ^^ Maybe that's just my perspective as a native German but even when I encountered discrimination against someone, there where always people aside from me pointing it out and educating the person on it. :)

But in terms of finding a place outside of a student residence hall in Munich, i think it will be very hard to come by for that price. Expect a price of at least €500/€600 and up.
Waiting time is about 3-5 Semester. I‘m waiting 3 semester and they told me if I have luck maybe next semester (March 2021) otherwise August 2021 which is ridiculous cause I finish my major in August 2021 🙄

You usually can't find a place before coming to Germany. My advice for Munich, the first month arrange a temporary accommodation, and in the meanwhile apply to all dorms you have found. You can check wg-gesucht, but finding a place from there usually needs you to be in town since all the ads come and go for the first week. Always try to be one of the first applicants.
