I had a very bad experience with neighbors from India who were computer engineering students. They seemed so nice in the beginning when it was only two of them that moved into a junior one bedroom. A few months passed by and now there were 5 people living in that small place. They would make all sorts of noise in the middle of the night without consideration for people that needed to wake up early. They were not very clean either. I had a bad fly problem because of it. Once they moved the fly problem went away. They would not clean up after themselves after using the laundry room and would often leave the clothes in the machines for hours and sometimes days. Please be careful. It was a terrible experience. But the most concerning and disturbing part was that I suspect they were hacking my WIFI and invading my privacy. It was a very difficult experience. I do not want to see a decline in German society based on behaviors and habits of individuals regardless of where they are originally from. Since there are decent people all over the world.
Yes you seem to be right as There are many of them in my country who is studying and some of them working . Home owners usually dont give them home as the same reasons you have remarked.
I am really sorry for your bad experience. I want you to know that not every Indians are like those idiots. I am really sorry and please don’t judge anyone based on your bad experience.

Hola! Gracias por tu vídeo :) recientemente apliqué para la universidad de Potsdam, crees que podría hacerte algunas preguntas sobre tu aplicación o la de tu amiga?
@@sofiasilva4389 really??! I did not know that. Not just visit during the day. I mean she plans to stay with me for 2 weeks just to be with me for a while. I thought there might be stricter rules in the student residence halls when it comes to visitors that are not students of the university
@@secretnobody6460 I don't know how things changed since covid, but I lived in the Potsdam student dorms for 2 years until covid. My bf stayed with me for a week and it was completely fine. I shared an apartment with someone else (we had separate bedrooms but shared bathroom and kitchen) and her brother stayed with her for a few weeks, which was also fine. If you share with another student, you should talk to your roommate and ask if it's okay that your gf comes to visit. If you sleep in the same room with a roommate, they might not like the idea and in that case maybe don't have people stay over longer than a day or two. But if you have a room to yourself, there should be no problem. I don't know the official rules, but in my experience living in the dorms is like living in a normal apartment. Nobody cares or checks your apartment. Just don't be loud all the time and upset your neighbours, because they can complain about you and then you might get in trouble. Quiet times (by law! lol) are from 10pm to 6am every night which i recommend following. Don't play loud music, yell a lot, vacuum or use the washing machine in those times. There are additional quiet times on Saturday from 12-3pm(? not entirely sure but definetely lunch time) and also for the entire day on Sunday, but if you have to do something during these times it's usually fine - just be quick and maybe don't be loud *every* Sunday. In my experience, students care less about the quiet hours than other people. (As i said, these are not the actual rules from the contract, but my friends' and my experience from living there for a few years 2017-2020)
@@throughcolouredglasses9300 hey. I appreciate your time answering questions. Because the student dorms here in my country usually have security personnel guarding the entrance and every visitor is monitored with a logbook etc or even sometimes visitors are totally not allowed to stay with the tenants. If i could stay in the student dorms and my gf can visit me for a couple of weeks that would be awesome. The student residence halls in germany is guarded by some security as well or nah? Btw you seem like you know your way around the university life in germany. I might reply to this message soon if i have other questions 😂😂.
