Great video. This is so helpful. Thank you so much for posting it. I can't find any person to help me with my clarinet since the pandemic hit. Out of desperation I am attempting to change the pads myself. I ordered a junk clarinet off of Ebay and will experiment with it first. At least now I know how to go about it.-
Brilliant, thanks. Just bought an old, cheap, clarinet of ebay which needs pads and cleaned and overhauled, never played one before, this has helped me a lot. How about how to replace the pad and general cleaning once stripped down. Thanks.
Hi, I am new to clarinet, and i am currently dissembling one, because of the clarinet pads. I reassembled the top part, and none of the valves? are opening it correctly. do you have a video on properly reassembling the clarinet?
there is a trick to brighten silverware with hot water, vinegar and baking soda powder do you think its a good idea to bath the aluminum parts to make them a new fresh look?
Thanks for this great video. A question: if a lever is misaligned and it won't close the hole fully, will loosening the screw, then tightening it back while holding it in the correct closing position fix it?
It may work sometimes, but it would depend on why the key will not close. If the hinge rod or pivot screws are too tight, it will probably help, but for most cases, it will not help.
what diameters are the holes in the board? Thanks for these videos, I'm planning on fixing a clarinet and it's just a bit more complicated than a flute, so I'll need some help
This video is a valuable resource, thank you.
I found your saxophone key disassembly video very useful. This one looks good too.

I do not yet, but that is a good idea. I will try to do that video on Wednesday.
