I'm becoming more intrigued with alcohol inks on their own as an art medium. I also watch Myriam's art stuff, and she does some great stuff too. This ornament is stunning. Thank you!
Awe thanks so much. It is very meditating for me. A lot like resin is meaning there is a lot of control you loose, so you end up with layers of techniques to get the end result that you want. Unlike resin, time is on your side and you can play as long as you like.

Thanks. Funnel is a great idea, especially with some sticky tape around the lip so it doesn't slip. Humm. Thanks for the tip.

I love this technique I have a client that is looking for one that is only white and gold. Do you think I could do this with the pearl and gold? She wants it to be transparent. Which I couldn’t achieve well with the dyes. And would u suggest using a cup turner to start with this to keep it turning or better in the hand?
Can you do the ink inside the ornament?
Yes you can. I have seen others use compressed air to move the ink around on the inside. Haven't tried it personally, but I would imagine it would turn out well. You can always add alcohol if you don't like it and try again.
I have gone to your site and cannot figure out exactly what you are using for your gold on these ornaments.
The gold I use is not a gold. It is Pinata brass.
Can I use plastic bulbs?
Probably could.
How would this work on plastic ornaments?
I would imagine that it would work just fine on plastic as alcohol inks were designed to adhere to slick surfaces such as glass. Yupo paper is a plastic paper and it works beautifully on this. I tried to look up plastic ornaments on Amazon, but right now the popular ones are the fillable type. They open up in half so you can put presents or decorations on the inside. The alcohol ink would run right down that seam and I didn't think that would be a pretty look.
