    These are such great tips & tricks, perfect for staying consistent!! How do you keep track of the macros in each portion and then communicate that to AB? Also do you track the foods as cooked or raw?

    • @suebush9773
      @suebush9773 2 года назад +2

      Thank you, Amelie! Since the meals stay the same for Alex, I just calculate them the first time and he makes note of it. I personally track raw especially as a competitor, but honestly either is fine as long as you stay consistent!

      @@suebush9773 thank you so much for your reply! I batch cook & meal prep for my husband too and enjoy the tips to refine the process. It’s so gratifying to help myself reach my goals as well as someone I love ☺️

    This is awesome! I definitely need one of those! Do you track these meals ahead of time then? Just thinking of the logistics of planning ahead so far and all that with macros. Sorry if this is in the next video haha

    • @suebush9773

      Thank you, Jessica! And for tracking them ahead of time - we already know what the macros of each meal are so we can “plug and chug” as we pull them out of the freezer and have them. But since my first 2-3 meals of the day are always the same, the macros are set and my last meal has flexibility!

    This is great! Thank you for sharing 🤗 question- have you tried using the vacuum seal bags with cold meals that you would just thaw and eat? I do a lot of those especially in the summertime and I’m how the vegetables would thaw out?

    Love this! Question: because you and Alex eat the same meals every day, do you already know the macros/how much food to separate into each meal?
    Also, how do you account for the macros of the chicken vs. stir fry veggies when you have them together in one pan before separating into individual vacuum packs?

    • @suebush9773
      @suebush9773 2 года назад +3

      Yes! I calculate the macros for him the first time I make a meal and then he makes notes of them. For the past year each meal has had 200g of cooked rice, 5oz cooked meat, and then a veggie!
      For the stir fry - I will weigh the total weight after mixed together and divide by 3 because it’s enough chicken for 3 meals and then divide the macros of the stir fry into 3 as well!

    I'm hungry now 😂 If you haven't tried, a sous vide kit does wonders for meal prepping. Great tips, and thank you for sharing!

      Haha, right?! Sue's Brother is a big advocate for the sous vide, but we haven't given it a shot yet. Thank you!

    Do you weigh the zucchini and pepper mix separate? I just see you cut the zucchini and put in the pan. Great video!

      Honestly, for Alex’s meals and because those veggies are so low calorie, I make them and them roughly portion them!

    Hi Sue!! Did you guys end up creating a second video on how you create your grocery list (you mentioned at the end of the video)? I tried to look for it after watching this but couldn't find it!

      hey! I have not made this yet, but happy to do so! I'll add it to the list :) We will likely do so after the leaner together series wraps up!

    Do you heat them up from frozen? And do you heat them in the bag or a separate container?

    • @PhysiqueDevelopment
      @PhysiqueDevelopment  9 месяцев назад +1

      I normally put them in the fridge a day before I need them so they thaw and then I just cut them open (and I prefer to heat up on a pan, but could throw in microwave at this time) - I do personally cut it open because I use the pan, but you can leave them in the bag to microwave/thaw!

    Do you freeze these bagged meals and if so how long do they last in the freezer? Up to a month? I know you eat them before but just curious.

    • @PhysiqueDevelopment
      @PhysiqueDevelopment  Год назад +1

      yes we do freeze them! and they can last up to 6 mos in freezer!
