I'm a 54 yo man and used to love Little House. This last 6 months I watched the show daily on Hallmark channel and relived it with the aspect of time. It brought more tears and joy now than it ever did when I was young. The World is a better place because we got to share the lives of "the Ingalls". TV needs more shows like this and The Waltons that a Grandpa can watch with his Grandkids. Family Love, Morals and Values never go out of style with the times...

I grew up in a very abusive home. This show gave me hope and helped me forget my misery. I'm forever grateful to Michael Landon and all of those who worked on this show. You'll never know how much good this show has done for people like me.
Thank you with all my heart!!!

Dear Rose Mary. I wish you knew how sorry I was for this so dramatic experience that because you lived at such a tender age as the childhood, I assure you as a Professor that you will find it very difficult to overcome it. Without disappointing, probably and never. I wish God to soothe your child's mentally injuries.
      Pavlidis Dimitrios

I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie I was 9 years old when it started in 1974, I am 51 years old now. I loved the show back then and I still do now and I still watch it now. The cast were absolutely perfect and so was the acting and the stories and the sets and the scenery. It is one of my favourite shows of all time. Also the fact that it is based on the lives of real people who actually existed in real life makes it even better and the show never looks out of date even though it is set in the 1870's and 1880's.

I grew up in an orphanage in Sion Switzerland. My parents died in a car accident. Little House on the Prairie
(Petite maison solitaire) I never like the French translations, it means “Little lonely house” and there was nothing lonely about that house. I love that show so much, I would dream that was my family. Now I watch it with my fiancée she loves it also.
I’m sorry about your parents! That’s wonderful that you will alway have good memories of them.

This show was all about morals. It was wholesome and entertaining at the same time. A quality hard to beat. Storylines you became addicted to. The characters were perfectly casted by amazing actors. Whether or not you could identify with the setting it didn't matter as it taught honor, loyalty, truth and love. A great show!!!

“Nellie” is simply adorable. Oh how I wish they would make a reunion movie that would be awesome!!
And it is so much fun to watch Little House now knowing that in fact she and Melissa were from the very beginning and still are the best of friends. How much fun they had being mean to one another when in actually they really loved one another. And “Mrs. Olsen” actually loved the children and loved being around them. She was considered as a mother figure on the set.

I literally CRIED my eyes out when Michael Landon (who was like a "Father Figure" to me, although he was on T.V. but he always reminded me of my own (living) father, with his such loving and kind ways with his children, etc... well, when he passed away in real life, I choked up and CRIED like a baby!!! :( I would have too look it up online, since it's been so long ago now, what he died of, prostate cancer, or pancreatis cancer? Something like that. But I always wanted to meet him in real life.. he seemed like he was real down to earth!! Take care, my new friend!! :) GOD BLESS!!

I love this show and always will---folks taking care of their needs and watching out for each other. Don't you wish America was still like this? Its very lovely to see the cast members and know that the ranch isn't condos---thank god some things don't change. I miss Mr. Landon so very much--shedding a tear right now. Thanks so much for this post LHO!! Made my day!

The series was one of the most important experiences of my childhood as I developed an enormous crush on Mary. I would watch the series every afternoon after coming home from school and yeah, I too wished to live in their time and court Mary. :)

What a show. Grew up watching LHotP with my two (older) sisters. Great viewing for maturing children. Fantastic lessons of family, community and decency. Love seeing these cast members together again. I wish each and every one of them the very best. They contributed to the positive aspects of my childhood. I’m a better man for watching LHotP. Such golden memories. Thank you.

I'm 19 now and I'll be the first to say kids of this generation will never know what a good show like this really was. Even family shows of today are not the same. My mom made sure I was raised off of these types of shows when I was growing up. I couldn't be more glad that I got the opportunity to be able to watch amazing iconic shows like this. 💯💖

I have loved Little House since I was a teenager. You felt so much at home, and what beautiful acting and the scripts were marvelous. It made me want to live in their time. They are like your best friends. I always thought that Almanzo and Adam were so handsome, wow. I loved Mary and Adam's wedding, what a beautiful ceremony.

I stumbled upon this video later at night after watching an episode of Little House. I'm 55 years old now. This show was a really big part of my family's tradition growing up from Ohio to Arizona. I bought the entire set for my daughter for $100. I don't think she watched it yet, but I like to imagine that she eventually will, with her son when he's older, and she'll think fondly of her dad and cherish his intent. I will admit to anyone, that this is the best TV show ever made, hands down.

Although this video is several years old & we've said goodbye to even more cast members, it still brings back fond memories. I grew up watching the show & introduced my daughter to it when she was old enough to understand it. I was lucky enough to meet Dean Butler in person & he signed a copy of my Little House book (which I still have). Now my family lives in the last state Laura & Manly called home & only a few hrs drive to both Rocky Ridge & the Kansas location (my daughter was over the moon to visit). LHOP was of better times & moral values that many didn't realize they were learning via TV. To cast & crew---Thank you so much for all you did & taught & for giving 9 yrs of your lives to the best family show (in my opinion) that has ever existed.
