Also Oleson's Mercantile would make a great place for the visitors to walk into and buy souvenirs and refreshments.

Not even allowed to get off the bus in town, and at the Little House site, weren't allowed to roam around and investigate the settings freely. Looked like there were other people on their own with their own vehicles though walking around.
This show is what got me when I was very young to just love The outdoors. Love the country, love the mountains. I just adore it now. I would rather be out on land like this than be on any beach in the world.
When I was 7 years old, my siblings and friends and I always watched this film every Sunday afternoon, always happy when the time came to watch Little House on the Prairie... I really love this film even now at the age of 54 and I hope I can visit Go to the filming location to experience the atmosphere firsthand

Yes! They actually had snake wranglers there to help keep everyone safe. That’s part of the reason we could only get out at the Ingalls farm. They took good care of us and made us feel safe!
