20 Year Old Vanishes Without a Trace What Happened to Jessica Barnes?

- Jessica Barnes, 20, is missing out of Pendleton, SC. She was last heard from on August 1st by her mom and dad. She was reported missing by her mother on September 10th.
Her husband, and roommates, Victoria and Kendall, did not report her missing after they say she left after finding out her husband was cheatring with her best friend and roommate, Victoria. Police say this is considered a missing person's case and there are no named suspects at this time. This episode covers what we know so far through police and posts made on social media by her husband, best friend, and roommate.
Currently, there are NO suspects who have been named and the Sheriff said her husband is NOT a suspect at this time.

Its all about him. About how HE messed up, HE feels embarrassed, HE needed space, HE has to "unfortunately" work etc etc. At best he is an ignorant cheating narcissist. Jessica and her family are in my thoughts ❤

The fact that the "best friend" didnt call Jessica's mother to let her know she was in crisis really says a lot about how "godly" she is. This poor woman just went through such trauma, and everyone around her only cared about themselves. My heart breaks for her.
Very sad that nobody she lived with including her husband reported her missing. Long time to not report your wife disappearing if it was a simple argument!

So he has a history of DV, has a convenient explanation for everything, casually keeps mentioning how SHE “left” and how her mental state wasn’t good and casually mentions she said she wanted to see her son soon. How nice of him to lay out a narrative so neatly for us to just pick up and not question. I believe him when he says she “left him because he cheated.” I believe him that she stated the words that their relationship was over. He doesn’t realize how textbook he is being. I hope for a positive outcome but wow is all of that so familiar to us who have heard a lot of people’s DV stories.

He must be contemplating running to another state permanently. I think that is why he made the journey to Colorado. It was a trial run, testing the waters so to speak…I pray for the authorities to solve this case quickly.

I noticed the girlfriend used the same language as he used in his “confession” letter. Sounds like it was scripted.

5:40 Law enforcement searched a wooded area near the boat ramp, but have they arranged to search the water? And where is the vehicle that was driven to the boat ramp, the one the police chief will offer no further info about at this time?

Interestingly enough, he is selling a car on Facebook marketplace using Kendall‘s account. I’m sure police are watching. Haven’t heard anything about any other searches at this point.

@@PrettyLiesAndAlibis “Interesting” is one word for it. I feel so bad for her mom who spoke directly to the camera, tearfully saying she’s waiting for her daughter to call. Speaking and appearing just the way you would expect someone in that situation to be when they make a public appeal.
