Hi Matt! Thank you for useful video! You mentioned that your wife received 15 minute extra for her spa massage as a Gold status member. Are there any other benefits that come with having Gold status, esp with food expense? Most of the information i found so far is with Platinum member status. Thanks.
Thanks for the info in the video. Question: I'm a Titanium member with Marriott, so I receive breakfast; however, the hotel offers no rates for room only; all the rates include breakfast. How did you get breakfast free? How/when did you purchase the full board; I see no separate offers for it online. I currently am booked for full board. Thanks.
Hmm maybe they changed how they book this place, when we went we booked room only and there were different meal packages, you could pay for all the food, or go half board or full board which would include dinner or breakfast + lunch + dinner. We also booked the room on points, that may have had something to do with it
Thanks so much for the video! Loved how you dived deep into the food and activities, what month did you go and how did you find the weather? I just booked a stay for later this year in late November which I heard is part of the wet season but its pretty close to Dec which is dry season so fingers crossed. How much total would you say you spent there combining all the food/drinks/activities? And any other expenses that might be unexpected?
Like I mentioned in the video the stay was free on points, so that said we did still spend $3500 for 2 people for 7 days. The includes $750 for the seaplane, $300 for two COVID tests, and $1500 for the full board meal package. Most charges are also subject to a 10% sales tax and 12% GST tax so it was another $600 in taxes. That's basically the entire breakdown, the remaining $350 we spent on activities. As far as weather, we went at the end of Jan and it was mid 80s every day, very sunny all the time. I don't remember it raining or being cloudy at all, pretty much ideal for this kind of trip. I'm definitely no expert 😅 but I think late November will be fine
Hi Matt Firstly the Video has been so informative….. really appreciate your efforts. One question: Can we take speed boat or ferry from Male to le Meridian? If yes how to book it?
I don't think there is a way, it would be a very long journey, probably over 3 hours. you might be able to privately charter one but you're probably stuck with the sea plane
Hi Matt, thought your video was good, but SLOWDOWN. I find many RUclipsrs speak really quickly in a lot of their videos. It’s OK to put pauses in your videos. We are talking about a long topic. Otherwise, you had very good information about this resort in the Maldives.

You read and speak too fast, faster than TV medicine Ads terms speaking. Very sad for useful information
my bad, I'll slow down next time. let me know if there's something you want to know
I like that it’s fast….it gets through the topics quickly.
