French Polynesia and Bora Bora in particular, is a great destination for people looking to explore outside the hotel, have access to the mainland island and experience a depth of culture that is often not possible in the Maldives. Four Seasons Bora Bora, as you may be able to see from our review, has incredible views and the rooms are stunning. The service was a bit hit or miss and that is the trend in Bora Bora. Emerald Maldives is a great all inclusive product with overall very good service and an excellent wine program. If you go to Maldives, you can take excursions but you will not be accessing local islands for the most part so its a very different style of vacation. Let us know any other questions you have!
