My husband and I went to rainbow springs state park this passed weekend in Dunnellon. It was beautiful. It was an old Florida attraction.Theres a swimming area and walking paths with waterfalls cafe tubing and kayaking rentals.

It’s peak season for the bioluminescence clear kayak tours in Cocoa Beach / Brevard county area. You go in a guided group and it is magical! And if you go to the Cocoa Beach Brevard County area there are lots of beautiful big historic houses on the Indian River Lagoon on South Tropical Trail. It’s a slow shaded drive. Downtown Melbourne is cute too! There is a little restaurant called El Ambia Cubano if you like homemade Cuban food that is amazing! 😊

Im not a fan of beer either along with the grapefruit gross. I would love to go on a seaplane someday! Great video sis

OMG, yes to the traffic circle sentiment! I have one in my neighborhood that has 9 possible exits and the cars that know the circle well are going so fast and I'm just trying to read the street signs and I just end up going around and around and people are honking at me and it's all just too much for me! Seriously stressful driving experience por moi.
I went to my sister’s wedding about an hour plus south… My boyfriend booked flying a seaplane (he’s a pilot - one of his hobbies) in this very town!!! He took my nephew, brother-in-law, and my new BIL’s brother on the flight… they all said it was so cool 😎 They videoed snippets of the flight. I don’t remember the exact cost of going on a smaller plane flight but flying a seaplane isn’t cheap. Memorable though! We didn’t spend much time in the town but the guys enjoyed the local pub for lunch afterwards! We all dashed off to various places & the airport afterwards…
I was born in Clearwater. The beach there is beautiful. My grandparents lived in Leesburg. There are lots of lakes there, as well. They lived to fish and the lived by a lake. I am retired from teaching. I now live in the Gulf Shores area of Alabama. Pretty beaches here too. Enjoy your travels and little trips. Carla
have you been to Leu Gardens yet?? (in orlando/winter park fl) I highly recommend ! 🤗 In most parts of it you will feel like you are in a far away beautiful tropical jungle far away from the city!
I cannot stand roundabouts either! Glad to know I'm not the only one. They definitely seem more dangerous and confusing. It's crazy that there's one with a train track running through it too!
I highly recommend Sarasota and Bradenton area, such nice towns. And you should go to the statue of the man kissing the lady, “unconditional surrender” from the famous photo.
Roundabouts are actually the safer option compared to 4 way street lights because they eliminate the possibility that two cars will collide in a T at full speed. They may seem more risky in regards to fender benders but they reduce risk of fatal crashes. Especially in Florida where people speed and drive like maniacs
If you decide to go back to the ocala area just outside of it are some awesome springs where u can so glass bottom boat rides and see manatee. Crystal springs I think is one and three sisters is another.
That round a bout doesn't look too bad, it's really hard to tell if it really is one but regardless I know how you feel . The first time I ever went thru one was on Oxford ms and I had never heard of them so imagine a BUSY one that you had no clue what to do , but panic lol. Now I love then and it helps traffic flow much better ! But people that don't will just run you down lol

Katie St. Augustine is 2hrs and 37min north of you it is an amazing place you should check it out. we took our youngest daughter to Cocoa Beach and stopped in St. Augustine on our way down 6 years later her 3yr old daughter's middle name is Augustine
Katie: this park is very cute! Why is nobody here?! Me: Because it’s hot AF!!! Lol parks are abandoned in the south in the middle of the day in the summer. It’s too hot to be out. Try after 6 PM and you’ll see more people ❤
That blue house is what most all of Key West looks like.... Enjoyed your video. Those RR tracks are like that in a lot of Florida. Confusing???? I drove a school bus for years on 😊 weird roads and tracks. I lived in Florida for most of 50 years. I would leave and go back, l am a mountain girl. I left yrs ago and have never gone back. When they warn about gators and snakes.....you have been warned....enjoy Florida...if you get a chance go to St. Augustine, Ron Johns surf shop in Cocoa beach...Sanford many years ago was a nice town. Had the best flea market. The Holy Land....in Orlando...it does cost but it will take your breath away.. Love ya
Welcome to Florida. If you go to St Augustine, go to Micklers Landing, it’s a popular beach in Ponte Vedra, to look for sharks teeth. Just a thought. Many great suggestions already.
Roundabouts are incredibly common worldwide, and wildly efficient when you know how to use them. The only people I've heard complain about roundabouts have been Americans 🤷🏻♀️

Best wildlife/reserve hike is in Lakeland FL...it's called Circle B Reserve. It's beautiful and you are sure to see some great wild life.

I live in Central Florida, just east of downtown Orlando. You should visit Mt. Dora, Winter Park, DeLand, any of the many nature reserves.😊
