How to make wax seal charms

- Supplies you’ll need:
Parchment paper or silicon mat
Low-temp glue gun
Crystal clear hot glue (any brand)
Krylon Gold Leafing Pen
Wax seal stamp (with deep impression and ring)
Icepack
Floral paper of your choice
White Handmade paper or card stock
Gold jump rings
Small hole punch
Gold paper clips
👉🏼 While your glue gun is heating up, place your wax seal stamps on an icepack. If the metal is cold, it won’t stick to the glue.
👉🏼 Squeeze warmed up glue onto parchment paper. Then place cold wax stamp into the glue. Let cool for 20-60 seconds. When it comes easily off the parchment paper, you’ll know it is cool. Remove seal from stamp.
👉🏼 Trim off lip of seal. Color seal ring with Krylon Gold Leafing Marker. Once dry (at least 20 minutes), color on the raised design portion. The deeper the stamp impression the easier it will be to color. Let the gold sit overnight before using to fully dry.
👉🏼 Punch hole into seal, add jump ring and then add to paperclip.
👉🏼 Tear down your handmade paper and trim down floral paper and fold to make small card. Add clip and wax seal charm.
That’s it! Let me know if you have any questions or if you try this!

Beautiful but what are they used for, the charms, just for deccor?
These are wax seals! I love using them for a variety of things. You can use them for sealing letters, scrapbooking, making gift tags, etc 🤍🙂
thank you. What about jewelry? can they be adapted for this?@@bgoods.lettering
I haven't tried but I'm sure you could!@@flair4crafts894
How do you know what size jump ring to use?
Wow😀
Thank you!
They are so beautiful. I would like to ask, which temperature is considered to be low temp?
Thank you.
You’ll be looking for a 40 watt gun and they will either be labeled as low-temperature or (more commonly) be dual-temperature. And you can just switch it to low. I’m not sure the exact temperature, but if you use a regular high-temp glue gun it will introduce a lot of bubbles into the glue or wax and doesn’t look as nice. Hope that helps! 😊
