One thing that really hit me is when Johnny said that we try to understand everything and ask for understanding but it leads to discouragement and depression. However, rather than trying to understand, just accept it and believe in God's guidance. Thank you!

My friend was wrongfully sentenced to life in prison for self defense and he gave up hope and took his own life in jail. Spoke to him daily on the phone for years telling him about hope in Jesus but he still gave in to the negative thoughts. Praise God for healing Johnny and allowing him to share his testimony. It takes a lot of self humbling to allow the Holy Spirit to change ones heart.
Oh my goodness I never heard someone preach like Johnny now I’m a believer….his experience and his wise words about his son gave me hope that one day my sons will understand that I love them, they need to accept my advise or and make their own mistakes.

The Gospel is actually summed up in John 3:16. You missed a very important part and that is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for the sins of the world so that anyone who would believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life.

That story towards the end reminds me of my mom before i was born my mom was sick from lung cancer they gave her 3 years to live after her operation she turn to god became Christian then she had me and lived 45 years after so i can relate lots of respect Johnny Chang 🙏
