Doctor Who - Open All Hours Style

Pertwee Era Who, in the style of Open All Hours.
Can't take the credit for the idea behind this, it was requested by Joseph Ryan on my last video. Hope this is what you had in mind :)

Brilliant stuff. What is interesting is the television conventions of any given era are only really understandable in hindsight. At the time you just accept things for what they are. Later you can see that everything, the decision to run telecine behind the credits, the fonts, the rhythm are all very distinct and that sit coms and dramas had their own look. It is too true that everything produced in Television Centre did have a sort of "look" in relation to lighting and configuration of the sets. Same actors too across many of the shows and (dare I say) sometimes a case of "different characters, same performance"

I’ve watched titles for Pertwee Who done in a few styles now and they’re all good, I’d still watch it.

Wonderful stuff how you have used different elements of the story and supporting episodes to create the more relaxed and steady feel to the show. Adding the laughter track has such an enormous impact on your viewing experience.
