    Ok a few things. One: the muzzle was pointing into his rectum. Meaning that the trigger would have to be pulled backwards to the outside. However if the gun is being extracted then the trigger is being pushed in the opposite direction so no discharge would occur unless pulled. 2: if these doctors had any form of gun safety they would know most of these types of pistol have a external hammer. Meaning if you block the hammer fall then gun goes no bang. So this and the first would make it safer. 3: why the hell isn't this guy knocked out or sedated with painkillers? Makes it easier WHEN THEY STOP MOVING AROUND!

    • @meme9492
      @meme9492 2 года назад +357

      This would be true, but there are a few factors. First, most derringers of that size do NOT have trigger guards. The actual trigger is fully exposed. Since the gun is inside his tailpipe, just past the rectum, there is a lot of musculature in the area and he was fidgeting about. Secondly, It is very easy to imagine that the kids luck ran out while he was fidgeting about and one or more of the muscles contracted on the trigger. The docs were, after all, trying to slide it out and that will cause a lot of the muscles in that area to start a bit of a spastic response. Things like that are not supposed to be in your butt.
      They did know about the external hammer, as they knew it was cocked. You can see it clearly in the Xray at 1:28. Can't tell that with an internal hammer, the issue was getting to it without surgery. Your bunghole will only expand just so far. Opening up your hole like that would likely cause a muscle contraction, which would have been the worst thing that could happen. Likely what actually did. Presuming they were able to open up his hole large enough to be able to reorient this pistol to pull it out, then here's a solution:
      Sedation to shut him up, full spinal block to immobilize his bottom half, then while that is taking effect, prep a set of locking forceps (phalangeal forceps? depends on the pistol) and laparoscopic camera. One doc holds the camera, the other focuses on the act. Insert and grip the hammer perpendicular to the axis of travel of the hammer. Lock the clamps. One hand on the clamp, one to get 2 fingers on the grip. Orient and pull out, grip first to use the grip/butt to protect the trigger. If by accident the hammer falls, the forceps will impede the hammer by jamming themselves in the way.
      Very delicate operation, very sensitive and there would be NO oNE ELSE in the room. Sadly, though, the other reason for pulling the gun backwards out is that if this all fails, the bullet should, based on path of travel, stay in the patient and not be a threat to others. Sorry patient.
      One final note. When the pistol went off, that would have absolutely destroyed his behind. The muzzle blast on a small gun like that is intense, because the powder hasn't all burned by the time the bullet existed that bitty little barrel. He sure as heck would not be conscious.

    I used to work security in an inner city hospital, one day we had a patient come in, who was the victim of a gang related stabbing. Apparently the patient was a high ranking member of a gang, that was in a turf war, with an opposing gang, that discovering the patient had survived the attack, had sworn to finish the job it looked like the patient was going to survive, but after several days he developed an infection, and expired, house keeping went into his room to clean it and went to move the bed, when the housekeeper heard a loud clunk, looking behind the bed, she observed a paper sack laying on the floor. I was dispatched to investigate, I took a picture of the bag in the position in which it was found, then removed it, and opened it, to discover what it contained, inside I discovered a single action .22 caliber revolver, and several loose rounds of ammunition, ( the gun it self was not loaded) being familiar with this type of pistol, something did not look right to me, so I checked the length of the cartridges, to the length of the cylinder, what I discovered, made me laugh out loud, when the floors charge nurse ( who would later marry my boss) asked me what was so funny I replied that whoever, had brought the gun to the patient, hadn't known beans about guns! When she asked why this was so I showed her that the gun was chambered for .22 long rifle cartridges, and the ammo, was .22 magnum, ( which has a longer case, and won't fit in a gun chambered for the shorter cartridge) the police were summoned to take custody of the weapon, which of course had the serial number altered, and they had a good laugh too!

      He literally stuck it up his rectum. You'd be surprised how common this is. Not exactly shoving a gun up your ass (although that has happened before!) but people have actually gone to the ER for things that got lodged up their rectum. Tennis balls, crayons, pencils, nail polish bottles and even aerosol containers, these are just some of the things.

    Seriously, the amount of people who "fall" on stuff and it goes up the pooper. There should be a public awareness campaign 🤣🤣🤣.
