Alright, continuing the series.:) In summary, support loops help us define the highlights on the surface and they hold desired structure edges in place. Next time we´ll continue and talk about the Importance of Egde Flow
Thanks Mario The mistake I was doing all this time was in the detailing stage. By directly extruding the meeh without giving it supporting loops. Now I know how to maintain the shape and where to add supportive edges. Thanks again ❤️
Yeah I see... but if you're in detail stage with dense enough geo its maybe not necessary ( as it could result in oversharpening). Its more important to keep them in check early on. Hope this helps
Hey... creases are not as flexible like in the example where we just turn one of the supports into new structure and progress further into form. In the next video we'll see it with edge flow too where simple change makes different design result. Crease will give the same result, as the example where we add support loops to a single edge. They have their uses for sure.. personaly I use them only in rare occasions in ZBrush workflow Just my 2 cents here
Hello! it's Ilya (Master Architect) and I'm glad to see you're back on RUclips! I sent you an email, hope you got it. If the email didn't reach you, please tell me where I should resend it?
Hello, can you show your maya visual settings? Maybe you have a video or link to a file about this? Help a beginner have a pleasant learning experience in maya )))

@@Elementza Thanks for the advice. Will keep it in mind 👍🏻
Greetings Mario! Why not use creases in the initial stages of modeling?
