I'm from Mississippi Gulf Coast in America but I live in Saigon Vietnam. I've had some interesting food here. That octopus was fascinating. I didn't know they could turn 2 shades of colors at the same time. I've eaten Octopus here in Vietnam. It's good. Such a variety of seafood here that we don't eat in the states. I've also eaten, snake, rat, turtle 😲 all surprisingly good. Tons of seafood I've never seen. The Razors are good.

Do you know how to make OCTOPUS SALAD with yellow and red onions, green and red peppers, vinegar and Spanish Olives and a bit of Olive Oil? I usually add some Chinese Baby Corn and Radish. 👍🇵🇷

Very nice. Try putting patches of collard tape on bottom of the pool. It would have been cool to see color changes as they move around. Do any of them Change colors with 1/2 their body when on 2 different colors at the same time?

That octopus was knackered, u could tell by the tenticles that where extended, that's why it didn't go straight into the water,! Not that it was happy in the bucket.
I knew, if you left the octopus in the pool long enough, it would figure a way out. We had one in the fish tank and it would always try to escape. Found it up the bubbler tube where unfortunately it died.

Having spent just over a month on Fake France (Jersey), I have to say Guernsey looks a lot more fun and like a Coastal fishing village in Cornwall/Devon/Dorset. Jersey is just...a bit weird to be honest, like it can't make it's mind up as to what it wants to be, and as a result, wants to charge London/Paris prices, for something that's more akin to Plymouth.
All of your catches had an oddity minus the squid. Octopus with a stubby tentacle, lobster missing a claw, lady crab missing a claw, and the brown crab with a chunk missing.
That brown crab looks like he had a chunk ripped out of him, do you figure that was a bird or is it more likely he took the damage In a fight with another grab or octopus?
Way to spice up that dish just a tiny bit more, quiet simple but will add a bit more depth to it. Fresh dill and chives added to the sauce just as you adding to the pasta and a tiny bit of the pasta cooking water to the sauce don't need much maybe half a cup maybe a quarter of a cup would be enough

Squid have a forward and reverse...and a high speed reverse. Octopus will "walk" to the wall and go back in the water!
