    I teared up a bit at the final shot with the music out of awe.
    Looks like Procreate Dreams would benefit from having some actual animation tools for environment maybe, something that could set the vanishing point for all things inside a group and a ‘Z/Depth’ amount for a layer so that when moving ‘a camera’ it would know how much to scale it.
    Procreate has 3D capabilities with all the material painting (that seems to have stopped a bit on that front?), maybe some of that functionality can be used as helpers for animating in Dreams too.

    • @nikolailockertsen
      @nikolailockertsen  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hehe, thank you :-) the music does alot! Yes, Dreams is still just the first version. Imagine what will come :-) If you compare the first version of Procreate with the one we got now, it is lightyears different. So we are in for alot of amazing tools in Dreams to come

    At 05:25 you grab the same brush in the library. But (for everyone who don’t know that) you could just. Paint with the brush, than (WITHOUT changing or clicking anything) just hold the eraser or smudge finger for a while. And procreate will smudge or erase with the same brush and size as you draw. ✍️ sorry for my English, hope you understood what I mean 😂

    • @nikolailockertsen
      @nikolailockertsen  6 месяцев назад

      @@imtheordinaryartist I often go for big canvas in Procreate. Forexample 12000 pixels wide or atleast 6000. Depending on how big a cameramove I wanna do in Dreams. When you then make a new project in Dreams I go for 4K. As you import from Procreate to Dreams, your canvas will be as much bigger than the frame, as it is in pixels. You just have to scale down your group with all content. If you know you dont want to do any cameramove or zoom in Dreams, you can stick to 4K in Procreate as well. Then it will fit the frame perfect as you import.

    Procreate can paint on 3D objects. Can you use 3D scenes in Dreams? I'd like to work with environments like in Disney's Tarzan.

      @nikolailockertsen  7 месяцев назад +1

      There is no 3D capability in Procreate Dreams. So the Tarzan stuff you would have to cheat in Dreams. But I totally understand what you are after!

    Wow, amazing! Love the breakdown! 😊
    If I may suggest a little bit of feedback? It would be very helpful to use a pop filter/stay further away from the mic/edit audio to remove all of the unnecessary swallowing sounds and breaths and so on, because otherwise people like me with autism/misophonia can’t really listen to the video with sound …
    But otherwise love the vid, super helpful!

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! May I know your ipad type ? I’m thinking of getting a new one since my 2016 Ipad Pro is begging me to kill it… the screen got white spots and it said because the hardware is too hot or something😂

      My pleasure. I did this one on a M1. But most ipads that can install newest iOS will work fine!
