Just heard the news that Carl is no longer in Asia. Asia shows will never be the same without these incredible and in-duplicable drum solos…thank you Carl for 21 years of excellence in this band and I REALLY hope to see you back in Asia again one day…
I already new Asia means business. Coz there taking care of business. Is band is fantastic 😊 I'm listening to the hole cd right now, the reunion albums 2007-2012.
Well, from the very start of the song the drummer is on fire and he is soloing basically, judging from his trills, his fills, his drumming is so energised, he definetely pushes forward the song and the tempo which is welcome of course, gives a really great amount of power and energy on this performance and the rest of the band is on fire, they run on all cylinders. From the keyboard solo and afterwards, the whole atmosphere is hot, the temperature rose up drastically
Nice video but right when he is doing that crazy behind his back stick flip which I've never seen any other drummer do the video switches to some slow motion scene of him with a completely different set of clothes tuning his drums which is a little weird.
Does anyone find it interesting that John Wetton followed up Greg Lake in more than one band ? He sounded very much like Greg, but not quite as smooth.
Rip John, I’m 13 and I have been listing to Asia for years and I still remember 2 year old me singer to this

I miss bands like this. I was 12 when I got their first album. Played it to death. There just isn’t many bands like this anymore. It’s sad.
Asia and Palmer together, oh wow, how spectacular!
?? Palmer was in from their first appearance ?!?..

It's a blessing it was that way for sure.
Cozy Powell ..........
Top 5 all time drummers
Buddy is #1
Neil Peart #2
Not sure why you think Peart is better than Palmer. Never was. Never will be.
@@apolloniusbeitsman5444 you are right...too close to call....different styles....both awesome
@@margaretbarnes4626 Agreed. Both absolute legends with an amazing legacy. I have a lot of respect for them too.
