Neat little wing. I suppose shipping from the UK to US is quite high, maybe matching the price of the plane. My kind of model though. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Steve, looking good! I’ve just ordered one of these and was wondering whether you feel the rudder is worth having / connecting up? It seems more like a bank-n-yank model and so a rudder may be unnecessary? Thanks! 😎👍🏻
I'd probably not bother with the rudder. I used it on this one as it was a prototype build so i wanted to test out the option. In reality I've only used the rudder very occasionally for a few stall turns. Omitting the rudder and servo also gives you a better shot at bringing the weight under the magic 250g.. I was 2g over
@@jetplaneflyer Thanks for your feedback Steve! Yes stall turns / coordinated turns were the only things I could think the rudder would be useful for, and this doesn't seem the type of model those manoeuvres are designed for 😁
@@HorizonimagingCoUkPhotography The Drone regulations only apply if it's 250g or over. Anything less is exempt so you can fly anywhere you like, subject to common sense of course.
@@jetplaneflyer - Thanks Steve! So what does getting under 250g mean in terms of where you can fly? I've always flown my planes wherever I feel there is enough space / away from the public anyway?

@@bcflyer99 the box doesn’t weigh much so shipping may not be too bad. Ask Andy at Angelwings
Excellent get the micro S for slope ❤

By the way, what's the big deal with the 250g target weight? Does it mean you can fly closer to / over people, as per the drone regulations?
