But The story followed the Plot Monty had it very clear to me And the story followed all the hints in the songs including RWBY actually having the day they actually fall. Hell Jaune was wearing a white rabbit shirt even early. Plus a Salem take down story having them visit all the school locations sort of an obvious plot line from the start. When they said they had plot notes way into the story it fits as head writers/creators writing is normally seat of the pants or write the ending and work backward with a plot line types. Someone who only plots part way rarer. The early songs are so spoiler ridden it funny of course they denied they were spoilers but they were way to accurate to not be spoilers. Even the Yang/Blake ship was part way leaked season one on Pod cast I believe. On reflection they were doing a common opposite attract story line just fact both are BI sexual threw everyone. Story line is couple meet and hate each other then new love interests appear at least one of the couple goes though a few and in this case a common ex shows up. Then couple gets together. But could the smaller details be done better and dialog done better yes. Monty's fight scene skill might not be duplicatable but they could have been done better. Ironwood I pegged as future Dictator first episode he was in because I've read history of several Dictators before they became Dictator. Only reason I questioned myself is Oz liked him and Oz was the Wise Wizard Trope It appeared. So I liked Ironwood. But turns out OZ was not wise or a good judge of character and OZ was a cause not the solution to a great many problems in the world in large part because he would not admit his failings later and at the start trying restart his Romance with Salem instead of ending her as instructed. So my first impression of Ironwood turned out right.

Yall act like rwby didn't have copy right strikes against other channels. This one was okay cause he was cool with them, bit I know mutiple channels that received strikes and other stuff from rooster teeth. Epsically those that were more critical in this show
Thanks Arnold for the announcement! I am happy that RWBY will continue. I also hope Casey Lee Williams will continue with the music. Her voice definitely brings a certain wonderful uniqueness about RWBY that I can’t quite explain.

That’s not a reason to say it’s unwatchable as I think some people are way too harsh or view the show with too much of a bias. I still enjoy it and clearly a lot of others do so that’s good enough for me. I’m happy to see how much they’ve improved over the years.

I'm just glad RWBY is not gone. I choose to be optimistic about the future. I would be a bit sad to loose the 3D animation, but I wouldn't mind 2D, if the quality is on average half as good as Ice Queendom.
Losing 3D just speculation. News that RWBY lost money along with all productions just standard Hollywood style accounting never trust it. That just parent company stealing from production companies for tax reasons and to pay anyone with contract for a share of the net profit nothing. Money losing productions don't get bought.

re: Kerry being the only confirmed former RT production staff announced as staying on with Viz. I think this makes perfect sense. With v10 yet to be announced (and maybe not even greenlit yet), why would you announce animation, production, voice talent, etc. for a series before that announcement even happens? There's plenty of time for those negotiations and announcements to happen down the road. Kerry was a key announcement as the 'guiding creator/showrunner' for RWBY as a whole, whatever that means. So I would say, relax, rejoice that RWBY will not disappear into the ether, and be patient as the future reveals itself.
This all reminds me of what the English dub of the Pokémon anime went through after leaving 4Kids to go to PUSA/TPCi. All new casting, because the original VAs were still contracted to 4Kids... but later, once it expired, a bunch of them were able to return.
I'm so happy. The past few months have really shown me how much I love this show. I am definitely going to have to put my money where my mouth is on this one. I'm just glad it's somewhere.

@@Atlessa I thought before DC was broken up and restructured that DC was making a play for RWBY. But that probably died with DC management changes in the restructure. Warner probably figures they make more in short run selling RWBY than keeping it for DC to run plus there might be agreements in documents when Rooster Teeth sold it self the first time that all properties must be offered to open market if Rooster teeth shut down. Agreements like that would have made buying Rooster Teeth cheaper as original Rooster Teeth investors would not have to be fully payed off then.
I was kinda half knowing that Viz Media would be the one to house RWBY because of the partnership and manga they did. Also I'm not so sure that the picture shown on the Viz website page of team RWBY is not their Vacuo outfits and they're not on Vacuo, that's just a pic of them explaining that RWBY found a new home in Viz. I'm happy to an extent. My only question is who are they gonna get to design the drip for team RWBY and company? I hope it's something legit or what I'm thinking it is. I think the phrasing of "Kerry will be involved with the next phase" makes its meaning entirely dependent on what they mean by phase. It's possible all they're referring to is this limbo phase of establishing the brand under Viz. This phase might involve the recruitment of more if this phase does not also encompass the production of Volume 10.
I just really hope RWBY will still be available internationally ... also if it doesnt continue as an animated show, I just hope whatever medium they choose as hoth visuals and voice acting, like a motion comic maybe? Or like a partially illustrated book with an audiodrama version to listen to while reading.

RWBY going with Viz is a surprise but a good one especially since quite a few Viz cast have already worked on RWBY
