My tifa was stronger than any summon. Made it so basically her atb meter was always full with the right materia she super overpowered. She kicked more ass than my cloud
Oh man I can't wait to see what the 30 minute long Knights of The Round summon looks like when the next remake part comes out

KotR was the last summon in the game. You'll need to wait for part 3 for that since Square will go 5 years overbudget and need to release another incomplete game to recoup their losses.

Everyone here is talking about Knights of The Round. But what about Neo-Bahamut or Bahamut Zero?
To break the game= This is call the Zonol built.
magic up x2 / heal/ Atb boost/ first strike / 2 elements recommend=fire and thunder / luck materia (optional) hp x 2(optional) or replace 1 hp up with revival
mythril saber (get all magic damage up)
/ platinum earrings/ chain bangle.
If your make is in the 400s you'll see that damage.
My magic is 450-49x depending who I use.
*PUT BARRIER with magnify on another chr* cast wall on your team. Pray could be a good aoe heal on a aerith or cloud.
This can also be used with aerith and her mythril rod get all magic and material buffs
Back in the FFXI days Summoner was one of my mains and i can tell you doing the solo fights against the summons to acquire them was one of the most fulfilling things you could do in that game. I know its not exactly the same in this game but I still get similar feels from seeing it.

Choco/mog was always my go to summon.
Thanks for the info about how to get access to the other battle simulations and I had no idea how to get leviathan and Bahamut.

While others say knights of the round, I'm waiting for Phoenix. I'm hoping it's just as gorgeous with the colors.
Seeing that final summon made think of of Tetsuya Nomura's armor set he designed for MHGU . I hope that makes a return in World 🙏🏿🙏🏿
The fan room is also a good farming spot after you get the Chocobo summons as you can keep respawning enemies by activating the switch again.
Bahamut has always been my main and this is no different

I found the chocobo one by accident because of my need to stay away from the path and look for shit. Didnt even notice the materia in the fan lol

I think FFVIII had the best designed summons in general. Ifrit and Shiva look great, and Diablos, Doomtrain, Alexander and Eden are awe-inspiring. The only real WTF one among them was Pandemonium.
@@GrimJackal Agree =D It also has one of the best Odin and Gilgamesh designs, but it was also the first time we got Cactuar and Tonberry as summons, which where just amazing xD
But yeah, Pandomonium was... odd =/
But Alexander was freaking amazing =D

Do you think we are going to keep everything for act 2?
I completed the normal playthrough without unlocking the Bahamut summon (still needed to upgrade a few more green materia). Can you use the chapter select option to go back to Normal (say the chapter with the Shinra VR system) with your current gear and levels, unlock it, and then go back to Hard mode?
Currently I have just played through Chapter 1 of Hard mode, super fun!
Guess i should have watched this sooner..i just finished the game and only ever had the shiva vr mission available. Guess I'll go back and look at the battle Intel now lol.
Infrit looks the best attack. Bahamut still king of summons man looks awesome.
Wonder if they'll keep to just Bahumat... or if in later parts introduce Neo Bahumat and Bahumat Zero... Zero was my fav :D
I believe it’s pronounced “Waifu” and not “Shiva”. That’s okay, it’s an easy and common mistake to make.

Kinda upset that half of the summons are pretty much egi. We at least should have had Ramuh since lightning is of the three bacsic elements.

What can I do if I have beaten fat chocobo and shiva yet Chadley does not give me any more VR missions?
I have battle scanned every single enemy and I am short only on 2 intel quests, do I really need to do them all?? At least for leviathan?

Bahamut is available late in the game and it is quite easy to fail the requirements.
I think I've already failed as I think I missed stealing an optional weapon for Aerith so I will not be able to get all weapons mastered.
Guess I'll sort it on Chapter Select.
@@pauljackson1944 I mean early in terms of story, not to sound too "but in the original" y'know. Had the clue when they showed Ifrit and Shiva that they added the summons early but didn't think they'd add in Bahamut.

If I remember correctly, you wouldn't have got any summons while in Midgar in the original game.
Obviously an FF game needs summons so I guess they had to add them even though it is reletively early in the whole story.
Bahamut was late on in the original game and I believe most players will miss it on first play through in this game anyway.
At least they didn't allow us to get Knights Of The Round!!
Link with W-Summon and have everyone else use Mime for 5*KOTR!! (The second cast on the first char usually fails due to low MP)

How does the summon system work in this game? I have a summon ib every character and in fights, when the summon appears I only get one of the characters to actually summon. For instance, I have ifrit in Cloud and I have not seen it anymore because always appears Cactuar or the chicken with the white bear on top.
Depends on the character you are controlling at the time of you performing a summoning action. If you have Cloud equipped with Ifrit, switch control to Cloud to summon Ifrit.
Ifrit bares a remarkable resemblance to blanca in street frighter😬lol
The wait time for all of them will be intense 16 summons total emeral ruby diamond weapons getting a gold blue black chocobo getting vincent yuffie cait red cid 5 years might only be enough for disc 2 lol
Knights of the round was the hardest summon
Omg.. I missed this summon material 😭😭😭 but is ok I'll be back after I complete the game. I learn that u can rechapter select once u completed the game on your first run, thank God, right

Don't worry for leviathan an bahamut you need to lvl up much more I got chapter 13 and could fight leviathan but he killed the whole team instantly with tidal wave when I had full HP so I'll take him on later
@@Irvine15 can u please tell how can i use limit access more frequently.. As iam on chapter 6th and have uses limit accesss only twice
@@harshitrakhiani8833 the longer the fight lasts and the more damage you deal, the more the limit gauge fills up, you'll get plenty of limit breaks trust me
@@rickkert077 so the trick is to play slowly.. Get more massive damages.. Build ur limit break bar.. And use it. Right?
What happen to the knights of the round table
I was hoping to see Neo Bahamut and Bahamut zero also the guy that has a full body armor with a horse, the big pheonix and the knight of the round. I was 9 when i played the original now i'm 17 thx to my brother who showed me the game. I cried my butts of when Aeris died oh wait it's Aerith now.

If you missed getting the summon in the sector 4 reactor is it basically just gone forever?
After you beat the game, you can replay any chapter to get things you missed, etc. So, it should still be there.

Mad Mags I’m not Arekkz but yes kind of depending how much you explore. It took me about 40-45 and still missed some. For example Chocobo&Mogry Summon. 😓
I pre ordered the Deluxe edition (with the art book and steel book) and only got the Cactus. How do I get the others?

If you like the majority of us ordered from Amazon then you’re shit outta luck as we got none of the pre order bonuses like the Chocobo summon or Sephiroth PS4 theme.

Yes, after you finish the game there's an option to replay chapters. You can even play them again in a harder difficulty

been trying to unlock the Laviatain summon in ff7 remake and I only have two intel missions left to do. The, get 220% stag thing and max out 12 different materia. So what am I doing wrong?
battleryoma9 you need to be on the chapter 16 and made fat chocobo and Shiva. Then find the boy in the shinra building and he will give you the mission to get Levi.
You should make a video about Items/Event that can be missed.
You cant miss any because when clearing the game you can go back to a chapter and replay the chapter. Sure you can miss them on your run through it but you'll just have to explore more to get them

@@jakobinboden3083 I don't think anything has been announced but I would say at least a year, since they mentioned each episode will be about 40ish hours.
@@Beerpowered Yeah that's what I figured. I'm hoping for September to november because they already have a lot of character animations done. Granted they still have to add a lot more game, I feel like they will get another set out before the end of the year because of the possible reuse of models. But with how much stuff they added to just this part, it may take longer. We'll see

Digital Deluxe upgrade contains Cactuar and Carbuncle (£15 on UK store).
Chocobo Chick was a pre order bonus and I don't see it listed seperately.
IMO its not worth paying just to get the summons as I don't think you will use them that much.
They might become available as DLC later on, as most games do.

Hate that they locked some behind pay walls, hope that changes.
All three DLS summons are... OK..Ish.
Remember: Summons are only available if you are fighting a boss or sub-boss.
You really only have a choice of one summon in a fight and you are more likely to pick 'Iffrit' over 'Chocobo Chick' for example, as it will do some real damage against the boss you are fighting.
Paul you can use summons in any fight if you get beat enough

Also explains why I didn't get a summons last night fighting Behemoth as I was using Tifa to stagger it real quick so I didn't get hit that much.

Such as Ramuh element of thunder and lightning , Odin God of Death, Fortress like summon Alexander Holy element, Phoenix life giving firebird, Hades all status damage, Typhoon wind elemental, Titan earth elemental. Are they gone in this remake?
Yes, hopefully they add EVERYTHING in the next one when it comes out in 20 years... no weapon bosses or challenging end game content. Not sure why this got so many great reviews. Good game but highly disappointing in the lack of content
The fact they have difficulty settings rather than balancing the game difficult kinda ruined it. I wanted the classic feel so i chose classic. Yet the ATB was so slow I mostly just used classic to AFK for a drink or something. That and the only 2 times I had to revive were both during the Tonberry fight. Used maybe 4 potions, 6-10 high potions and 2 ethers. Visually and storywise the game was great, combat was 10 ply.
And on top of all that the meteria distribution was terrible. I had like 4 of most greens and barely anything else. This isn't a mobile game, nor a classic FF game, flooding the player with common stuff and not having enough high end stuff just limits the ability to try builds and see how shit works together. I wouldn't miss it if it was gone, but i'm kinda glad I played it.
I thought the combat was great. You just use your regular attacks to build up your atb bar which works pretty quickly. I didn't really have a problem getting the materia I wanted either. I found lots while wondering around and there are tons of materia vendors.
I missed the Chocobo Moogle summon... can I go back and get it?

Mangus Allen nope. They are missing two other bahamut summons. Neo and zero bahamut, Odin, knights of the round, Ramuh, titan, Phoenix, Alexander, hades and i think one more.

When you beat the game you'll unlock the ability to go back and restart a chapter. I missed the summon materia in the fan, I'll get it later
So really the only one you can miss is moogle and chockobo. Everything else is grind for that VR or dlc or free ifrit

But you may not get all VR becouse you didn't find all optional weapons etc so couldn't do all the tasks.
Some of the battle missions are just annoying. No idea how to get 200% stagger.
