Attilio - I can only agree with all the other comments on here - it is just great to see you posting again. I really hope you are well, and that you are feeling good about life now. Social media can make people doubt themselves, and I was sorry to hear that it may have caused you to stop making videos. I started to learn landscape photography just a few years ago, and I very quickly decided that I needed to follow you, as I admired your style, and found it easy to learn because of your calm and careful explanations. I have learnt so much from you, and I have always looked forward to seeing every single video that you post. I have progressed to the point where I now teach others, and will soon be running workshops. But I know I will continue to enjoy your work, and I hope you can enjoy sharing your photos and videos with us. Welcome back!

Your opening up about your struggles is a huge deal for those who also find life has been hard. We can empathise with you and would all be sending you virtual hugs . La poesia delle tue foto e dei tuoi video è quella di sempre, ma si percepisce che tu sei diverso, il tuo ritorno è un esempio di rispetto per se stessi perché hai saputo fermarti e ascoltarti, capire cosa sentivi dentro di te e trovare la tua strada.
Ti ringrazio perché chi come te sta attraversando un momento di introspezione sa quanto sia importante avere il coraggio di rallentare e assecondare i propri ritmi.

It seems that you and I are on the same frequency. I have not made any long exposure photo for more than a year now.. seeing you again triggered my creative bubble again and in my mind I am planning to grab my gear and visit the coast tomorrow to make a long exposure.. can't wait. Happy to see you back. I had a hardtime and nothing interested. I change one of my lenses from the old setup (Sony A7IV and lot of stuff i had to sell) to Nikon D800 and 50mm f1.8G. Found your old videos, inspired and caught one of my best long exposure photo. With flower and Bees. Thank you for coming back and beeing one of the photographers bringin me back my love of photography. 😊

Oh my. Thank you for sharing your sabbatical and I am thrilled that you are back. Other professional photographers have told me that they have not picked up a camera for even longer than a year! This makes me feel better about times I don't want to focus on photography. Apparently, we are normal. Thank you also for sharing the mistake of not closing the viewfinder. It helps me feel better about my errors and memory, as well. You are still an inspiration, Attilio. Looking forward to your next video.

Welcome back! It was wonderful to hear your voice again. Regarding new gear as a motivator, you are correct. it isn’t! I’ve tried.
Great to see your new video after your holiday. Take your time it will all come back to you. On the new gear. I don't think that will make you want to pick up the camera. What I found is to try a few newer locations. It will peak an interest and than you will find something you want to take a picture of and share. I really do miss your videos!

Attilio, you are correct. Inspiration/motivation comes from within. I’m going through the ‘block’ right now. I decided to upgrade from my Nikon D850 to Z8 hoping all the ‘bells and whistles’ would bring me new interest…..it didn’t. Sometimes we just need time to assess ourselves and move forward when we should. Glad to see you moving forward…hopefully I’m not far behind. :-)
