  • Learn how to graph horizontal ellipse which equation is in general form. A horizontal ellipse is an ellipse which major axis is horizontal. When the equation of an ellipse is written in the general form, we first rewrite it in standard form using completing the square. After the equation has been rewritten in the standard form, we then graph the horizontal ellipse, by first identifying some of the properties of the ellipse including the major radius and the minor radius and the center. These properties enables us to graph the ellipse.

    I failed my math class this year and am taking summer school to try and get a better grade. So far I've managed to pull a 91% (as compared to my 54 for the year). Every time I have some problem with the service I use, like it not explaining how it got several different numbers, this guy has a video explaining exactly what I don't get! I've been able to actually learn everything I missed and I'm starting to have hope! I wish my teachers were like this when I was in Algebra 2 and Trig.

    OMG! My math teacher rushed through this topic (and about 5 others) in 2 days because my provincial exam is friday and his exam was...well today....a portion of the class skipped his exam because we were destined to fail it. Your vids helped me with most of the stuff that got thrown at us, the only thing I couldnt find was triangular proofs and more advanced logs. I was able to figure out the circle geometry stuff (similar to this) after watching this vid too. THANK-YOU! ADVMATH12 prv. exam inc.

      100÷5

    • @SheelByTorn
      @SheelByTorn Год назад

      this is 3 years ago, but the reason it become 20 because 5/100 if you reduce it, it will become 1/20.
      It's not 100/5 that is just wrong.

  • @arjunverma963

      5÷100 is 1/20, you don't have to put one outside the parentheses because it doesn't change the variables inside the parentheses. Thats why you don't see 1(y-3)²/20 because it just have to be (y-3)²/20.
